Purchased a Groupon deal for a mini-golf package for 4. Arrived on a Tuesday about 20 minutes after business was scheduled to open (according to the sign on location, as well as online). There were several little buildings; all were locked except the one that held the bathroom. There was no around and no indication of when anyone would return. While we were deciding what to do another couple drove up expecting to golf. After about 10 minutes, both my group and the other group decided to leave. Not having actually played on the course I can't comment much on that, but I did look it over. There was no elevation and very little in the way of visually stimulating scenery or difficult elements to make it challenging, and quite a bit of noise from the nearby expressway (though I wouldn't fault the place for that, it might be a detraction for others). The greens themselves seemed old and very worn. I ended up letting the Groupon expire; I would rather pay a few more dollars and golf...
Read moreThis is the kind of course I look for. I miss the older vintage motorized holes with the bowling pins that rotate and large turning wheel that sends your ball down a ramp…just place has these. Plus, a real sandtrap. That was challenging. The grounds look like someone’s cool backyard. The snack shack was closed but their Autumn hours just started and they close earlier, at 7pm. The bathroom was very clean. I had to wash my hands after because the clubs are old school…sticky and gritty. But that is what I came for. Oh and I did not get a tally card, so I counted my stokes and had a 69 on the upper course. You may want to bring a pencil and pad to tally if you do not want to keep a number in your head while you golf. The course was 19 holes. Garage looks like it was an arcade at one time. Not anymore. We had an hour’s worth of good fun and will show up some other day to golf...
Read moreIt's a fun course, I recommend the upper one (there are two!). It has a few things that move and a few interesting places where you really need to whack the ball.
They were not busy even on a Friday night. It made for a very nice and quiet date night for my wife and I. We laughed quite a bit at some of the goofier parts that are actually pretty difficult.
Price is pretty reasonable - $8 for an adult, kids and seniors get discounts from there.
They've been around a while at this point -- but they've clearly been fixing things up lately. As of August of 2021 the course was totally playable, no torn turf or anything like that.
I'd recommend for some good old fashioned...
