Handy Corner — Local services in Grantsville

I am extremely frustrated with the older lady who works here, every time my wife goes in to get pizza or to buy a drink that lady has to have a rude attitude with her. Today was the topper among many other experiences but we had an issue because we walked in with or helmets and a back pack to hold our drinks and food (rode a motorcycle there) we were also going to betos for breakfast anyway she tells my wife back packs aren’t allowed in the store semi rudely tone again used to her being this way since we are repeat customers and just let it go. So we agree to take it off wife hands it to me and I rest it on the ice cream cooler and immediately with an attitude tells me to put it on the floor in front of the atm saying what if someone wants ice cream and fair point but than in return what if someone needs to use the atm, plus the floor is extremely filthy. I responded with matched energy that I’m not putting it on the floor. I proceed to pick up the back pack and go back into betos and her and I exchanged word about it and me saying I’ll take my business elsewhere I’m tired of the constant mistreatment when going there.

I know we aren’t the only ones experiencing this either several people in our friend group have the same issue and have had confrontational situations with her. Home town/handy corner has the best pizza in town but unfortunately the worst customer...

Bait and Switched....

I have never came across a store owner with such an arrogant attitude before. The Indian gentleman behind the cash register was just plain rude.

They had a sign at posted at the front entrance promoting 2 bottles of soft drink for $2. I bought the two bottles of drinks to the cash register to paid, and the owner ask me to give him $2.50 for the two bottles. I asked why the price different, and he said do you want to buy or not. I pointed at the sign in the front door and he said that is the wrong price,, no ship... So, I asked how can you bait your customers to buy something and when you check out, it's a completely different price. He did not care if he is falsely advertising, and made no apology that the price was wrong. The response was.."Do you want or Not?". I told that I want it for the advertised price, and he looked at me in disgust, like it's my fault. He was unyielding with selling the product at the posted price and refused to lower it.

I should have walked out, but felt sorry for him and caved in for the extra .50 cents. The .50 cents is worth this review, I hope others will find the owner of this establishment to be a fraud and go else for...

I'll start out by saying that it's the best pizza in Tooele county. It's nothing too extreme. Something the whole family will enjoy They have more than just pizza. I highly recommend the calzone ( You can't go wrong with the chicken bacon ranch). Bring the family down, sit down and eat. They have plenty of seating. Over the years I've gotten to know the owner. He's a great guy. He's takes pride in his pizza. He enjoys seeing the smiles on people's faces when they try his pizza for the first time. You would expect to pay twice this amount for the fresh ingredients and his signature sauce. Now if pizza is not your thing. There's also a beto's Mexican restaurant located inside as well. So he has something the whole family can enjoy. Believe me they will enjoy it! Last time we came here we carried a pizza out and got our car washed at the same time. They have a beer cave there as well if you're into that sort of thing. I've heard people say that it's the coldest beer in the county. There's a car wash there as well. So if you're cruising across I-80 and your car's dirty and you need some food and gas. Then stop here. It might be the last stop for 150 miles so keep...
