Dr. Russell might be a great chiropractor, but don't believe the reviews, particularly the one from his wife that says he's "so much more than that". Now that I've met him, I'm fairly sure all the reviews are fake, but I'm chalking it up to a learning experience. I was looking for a wholistic practitioner who could help me with a very specific condition that I have (candida glabrata). I called and asked if he had treated it before (I was told yes, though I now know that was untrue). I was also told an evaluation was $250 (which gladly paid), but when I was sold another $100+ of "special supplements" a red flag went up. Any "practitioner" that says you must buy their special brand of supplements to get better is pretty much a snake oil salesman, and though I know that, I was desperate and I started taking them. After a few days of diarrhea, I started to worry. I looked up the products he sold me. There was no actual proof anywhere of people using these products and the products actually working (look up the various Living Streams products, and the wholesale distributer information if you want to know how much he makes on these). I consulted with my GP, and he advised stopping these questionable products immediately. I was already taking a medical grade probiotic, and adding these experimental products was dangerous. When I wrote to Dr. Russell to explain this, he told me the owner of the Living Streams products said they would work (like that should make me feel better) any then his wife said if I wanted any future correspondence I needed to pay more money (even though I was originally told phone and email correspondence was included in the fee I paid). Needless to say, I stopped taking the products. I debated writing a review for a month before doing so - not wanting to post a negative review of a local practitioner - but I want to be honest with others in the area who may be desperate to find a wholistic practitioner. Dr. Russell is probably a good chiropractor, but I have no faith in his ability as a wholistic doctor - atleast not for the condition I have. If you have questions, ask questions. If a doctor of any type doesn't want to answer them, move on to someone else. You have to be your own...
Read moreI came across Dr. Russell because I was so desperate to find help for my son. He was diagnosed with asthma at 5 years old and for a whole year we would be in and out of the medical offices and hospitals. Out of desperation I was willing to try anything and everything so he could be go enjoy running outside again. I was very skeptical but was willing to see if anything else worked. As Dr. Russell was assessing my son I would ask questions like WHO, WHAT, WHERE, WHY. Without any problem Dr. Russell would gladly answer all of the many questions I had. I talked to my husband who was even more skeptical that I was. He was not 100% into taking our son to Dr. Russell. But because we were so desperate to find him help he agreed to it. After following his notes we have seen amazing improvement with my son and his constant "allergies" and his "asthma". We thank God EVERY DAY because now my son, 7, is able to go back to being a wild, active, and outdoorsy kid. He would get so sick and all the doctors would do is up his albuterol, use the inhaler 2 a day, take daily allergy medicine. Now he has left all those medications behind & we are working on his gut. Even my husband is now fully on board with Dr. Russell and is amazed at the work and knowledge that Dr. Russell has! He has helped us so much and made us believe by helping my son, that now I personally see him and so do my girls, & next is my husband!
I 1000% recommend Dr. Russell, & I always tell friends, family, even strangers about how he "cured" our son's asthma.
I've you're dealing with anything that you feel is not right I recommend setting up an...
Read moreNew Patients BewareThis reviews is for how I was mistreated by Laura the coordinator. I called to schedule an appointment for bloodwork a couple months ago that was very specific. Submitted the new patient inquiry and when Laura responded she said they could help. As the conversation progressed she kept trying to sell me another treatment that I told her multiple times I wasn’t interested in. I was very adamant and she kept pushing. I don’t know if she is commission based but she would not take no for an answer. It was frustrating. I ended up hanging up on her as she was more interested in her hard sell than my needs. Fast forward to trying to book an appointment for a full blood panel and I spoke to Laura the coordinator again and she brought up the other conversation out of nowhere and wanted me to apologize for it when I was simply trying to book an appointment. She got very emotional and hysterical with our conversation and then she started berating me and at one point told me “you have problems girl”. I had the phone on speaker so my husband could hear because I was shocked how she was treating me. My husband was appalled. She said she wasn’t going to let me see the doctor as she didn’t think I was a good fit and this is based on her feelings being hurt from our first conversation when I hung up on her aggressive sales approach. This is surprising because she’s a patient coordinator who is supposed to schedule patients not deny them medical care based on her personal grudges. If she is a representative of what the culture is supposed to be at this practice, you decide if you...
