The Food Truck at Northbound Outfitters — Restaurant in Grayling Charter Township

Props to the one guy working the grill actually doing his job. Bro cooked up some peak tacos and I got them almost as soon as I sat down. The rest of the employees just sat in the back on their phones while I sat and waited for the fries I ordered before giving up and getting a refund. I presume the girl who was sitting on her phone the whole 30 minutes I was there is suppose to be working the deep fryer. Tables are gross and should be wiped down when there are no orders coming in instead of using that time to check their phones. Grill homie is on it though. Drove up from Houghton Lake to get dinner here. We were pretty disappointed. They were out of almost everything, couldn’t get sandwiches, burritos or quesadillas, and they were out of the Asian zing sauce too. I got 2 pulled pork tacos, my wife got an avocado taco and a rib taco. They were VERY spicy, and we generally enjoy spicy food. Spice was the only flavor though and it was overwhelming. The pork was also very dry, but we got there 45 mins before close so you almost expect that. My wife found a hair in her avocado taco after taking a bite, gross. The service was quick but hairs in the food is a deal breaker for us. We left hungry and grabbed Burger King on the way...

Let me start this review by sharing that, at the time of leaving this review, the pork torta taco I got here is the best taco I’ve had in my entire life!

Beyond that, I’m thrilled with the value. That $5 taco was VERY filling. I also got the rib quesadilla (I never even really eat quesadillas or ribs, but I was feeling adventurous today) for $8, and it was delicious with a nice hint of sweetness to it.

I’ve never heard of this place in my life and we just kind of happened upon it on our way from Port Huron to Bellaire, but I’ll definitely make a point of driving out of my way in the future to come back ❤️ incredible experience, kudos to you...
