I tried to set an appointment and so I called and spoke to the lady I told the lady on the phone that I had thick curly long hair. The lady said it was fine and estimated me 350 for hair coloring. I go in and they set me up with Cassie and explain her prices are high because she was a level six. So when I got there she was super nice and she asked me what I wanted and I said I just wanted something different I wanted to cut my hair and go blonde and ofc she was smiling and being kind but then told me my hair wouldn't come out right with the bleach because I have a copper tone from a previous hair color and that it was a lot of maintenance to up keep with the roots, but before she helped me she said that the price might change because of my kind of hair, so she shot down the blonde look for me and kept saying that I probably won't be coming back even though in mind I was ready to set up appointments for future appointments. So then I was like whatever then you do what you think the closes I can get to blonde so she starts cutting my hair and makes small talk even though I'm still trying to convince her for the blonde that I want but she just kept saying no. Then we get to the process of applying bleach and as she's doing it she's telling me that they actually have a person that works with my kind of hair and they should have recommended that person to me, which I would have went for if there wasn't bleach on my hair already. She's putting the bleach on with an aggressive force that kind of feels like she's smacking my head every time that brush goes to my hair. I felt especially more when she was doing the front of my head by my face because it kept getting smooshed. So the bleach sits and it is time to take it out and she's washing my head with super hot water and when she's brushing my hair out she's literally tugging on it, mind you I'm not tender headed and I told her that but she was brushing it so aggressive my neck the next day was sore, she adds some stuff while washing my hair then when she goes to wash it off she uses blazing hot water and I even told her I'm that water is super hot that's when she changed it. So after that and the brushing we go to my seat and I'm looking in the mirror and I'm like thinking to my self I see no difference. So I'm trusting the process as she proceededs to test different types of curly hair products because she didn't know what would suit my hair best. And she left a heat protectant in my hair and she just kept touching my hair and asking if I liked it and I was like can you stop touching my hair your making it frizzy and I didn't answer if I liked it I just said I don't know because it just looked the same to me, my hair was wet and a mess it wasn't styled it was just crazy and honestly I just wanted to go home because it was a waste of time especially not getting what I wanted. The first picture is of my hair and the pictures after that was of the finished result. Second one was walking out the salon the third on is of when I got home. They charged me 400 for what color? Because I do not...
Read moreI first visited this salon in the summer of 2022 for a haircut. Kayleigh was the stylist and did an amazing cut and blowout for me and I was very happy, so I scheduled an online appointment with her in October for a Color, cut and style. My color is a copper color and I had money pieces which we kept and brightened. The cost for each service wasn’t discussed at all during my appointment. My total ended up being $250 - I’ve never paid that much in my life. They send the receipt via email so after a few days I reviewed the receipt and noticed they charged me $88 for my money piece, which was more than the all over color and is a price comparable to a partial foil which I did not get. I contacted the salon and it took me 2 days to speak to the owner, and she at first told me that I’m “paying for the look”. I advised that the stylist could have done a different technique that would lower the cost and asked for a credit for my next visit, which the owner agreed to.
I visited the salon again on 12/17/22 and saw Kayleigh again for the same services. I showed a reference picture of the copper color I wanted and she said a vivid color would be best. We agreed to a total before starting and everything was going well. However, during the shampoo process I noticed her putting something on my roots over and over again and rubbing it in before she rinsed. I sat back in the chair and looked at my hair, and my roots were still bright blonde (my natural hair color). Kayleigh started cutting my hair and didn’t say anything about it. So I spoke up and said “did my roots not take?” And she said she noticed it while rinsing me and was waiting until my hair dried a little to say something….so I had to sit and have her dye my roots all over again and repeat the rinse process. I got there at 10am and left at 2pm. My roots are brighter than the rest of my hair now and I’m worried they will fade faster than the rest.
I’m overall very disappointed with this salon and will never be back. They make sure to charge you for the most expensive service options and tell you it’s because of “the look”. Beware of this salon if you’re...
Read moreI booked a same day appointment for this evening at 6:45p. I arrived on time and was told my stylist would be right with me. At 7p my stylist had still not come to get me for my service. I inquired at the front desk and the woman let me know that the stylist was just finishing and she should be right out. At 7:15p I had still not been called back and the front desk person approached me and let me know they were going to move me to a different stylist in order to accommodate since the stylist I booked still wasn’t finished, she offered to get me some water while I waited. I thanked her and told her I did not want any water and continued to wait. However, at 7:35p I had still not been called back. I approached the desk and let her know I’d like to cancel. While the front desk person was very kind and apologetic about the situation, she told me that booking online doesn’t show up in their scheduling system. I replied that it seems online booking should not be permitted if that’s the case but I think waiting almost an hour for my appointment is a bit ridiculous. She agreed and apologized again and let me know it’s something she will talk with the owner about. She did offer to rebook me for another time but at this point, I just don’t want to go there if they can’t even manage their booking system. I did receive a full refund for the portion that pre-booked for. Maybe a one off but it seems like they could have been more upfront in the beginning about the timing issue and then I would have been given the choice if I wanted to wait around or rebook right away. I’m sure they just wanted to try and accommodate me since I was already there but it really rubbed me...
