Great Event!! Vendors are always courteous, helpful, and open to suggestions. Of course almost all Farmers' Markets are a little pricey, but you get what you pay for -- great selection, fresh produce, home-made baked goods, pasture-raised meats, and friendly faces. Of course any Farmers' Market is more than just purchases; it is a gathering place for socializing, catching up with friends, getting snacks and listening to some great nostalgic music, too. Read moreThis is one of my favorite markets! Grayslake is such a great area, as well. Cute town with lots of shops and places to get breakfast! My favorite vendors are at the market! Best selections of farm raised beef, bison, chicken and even elk! Local jams and great cheeses! And in the cold weather, the coffee truck (I actually love the dirty chai!) is absolutely perfect. GFM was like going to the Disney World of all farmers markets.
