Well, after 53 years of smoking "Illegal" weed nearly everyday, I finally went to my first dispensary and purchased legal weed. I must admit it was a bit surreal, but having had Brendon as my guide today, I was quite a bit smarter leaving than when I came in about the weed I've been smoking for years. His wealth of knowledge was so interesting and enlightening. He was able to guide me towards the attributes I was looking for in today's purchase. Farnsworth Fine Cannabis Company is quite beautiful and spotlessly clean. Everyone I came into contact with was warm and friendly and just made me feel right at home. Well into my sixties now, I still smoke almost daily.....just not nearly as much as I used too. Now, I have some products that hopefully will help with my aches and pains as well as helping me get a better nights sleep. I ordered most of what I got today in advance on their website which was a breeze to navigate and with Brendon's help added a few more items to complete my order. What a lovely bunch of humans and a gorgeous storefront. The Farnsworths have got a great thing going for them here. Their showroom is beautiful, well designed, and tasteful. They were knowledgeable about their products and so friendly and affable my friend and I could have stayed all day talking with them. We visited during the soft open and it was good vibes all around. I bought a "focus" tincture and a Marley glass piece, both excellent purchases. Can't wait to go back and visit them once they are in full swing and see what they have come up with. A great addition to Great Barrington.

UPDATE: Had the great privilege to visit again now that the store has been open for a bit. Thrilled to see they have expanded their offerings, with more great products and accessories. Visiting this discrete and elegant jewel box of a store was an enthralling journey from beginning to end. Everyone who works at Farnsworth is gracious and accommodating and supremely knowledgeable about the varied and robust product lines. The aspect of my visit that struck me the most was how all-encompassing the brand's distinctive aesthetic was incorporated into the smallest of thoughtfully conceived details, making me feel a very specific sense of place. The displays synthesize visual language of the past while remaining fresh and contemporary and retain the rich layers of the Farnsworth name and legacy with its twenty-first century rebirth.
