Most (if not all?) items are cruelty-free, fair-trade, women-owned, for social-good, sustainable, and/or local. The owners don’t mention it much but anyone can look into the products or brands and see this! Just amazing. Then, after it was proven that it was exactly in the place where she left it, rather than apologizing for their huge, humiliating mistake, they decided to shame her in front of the other patrons.
