Well, me and my boyfriend stopped there to get a brunch at around 11ish on a Sunday. I think the place was way understaffed. There were only 2 ladies serving the beverages to the people and taking orders for the food. After waiting in the line for approx 5 minutes we were told that there's a wait for food approximately 30 minutes. It was fine for us. We ordered the Arlo Sandwich, the Grilled Chicken Sandwich and a Smoked Salmon Bowl. After our sandwiches were brought to us, we noticed that we didn't get our Salmon Bowl. After catching the gentleman who brought us our sandwiches I asked if we're going to get it later, he said that they're out of salmon, and someone should have notified us. He also asked if we still want it. I kindly refused, and we got our refund in full. When leaving the place I spotted the gentlemen and I wanted to at least compliment the food, but I was met with a lukewarm "ok". Again, the food was good, maybe we just happened to be there at a very busy day. The pictures are of the...
Read moreFuel is by far my favorite coffee place in town. The only reason I go to other places is because I can't always get a table! They make the perfect mocha latte, foam art and all, and it's a real treat to get one of their fresh pastries. The staff are amazing and go consistently above and beyond to give the best service possible. If you come more than once, they will remember your name and order. They once gave me a free coffee after I spilled mine on myself trying to get the bus.
The only reason I didn't give five stars is because I have had one or two negative experiences with the food. The hot sandwiches in the case sometimes are sometimes very dried out and burnt around the edges, I assume from sitting in there too long. I also once had a very upset stomach after eating the chili. Other than that, I've had nothing but great...
Read moreI went into this Cafe yesterday to get a coffee. I thought I'd have a friendly conversation which turned very confrontational very quickly which just seemed bizarre considering it was a conversation over what the different types of coffee they offered were. But no big deal. I figured maybe the cashier was having a bad day, so I just smiled. Once they finished making my coffee they told me the almond milk was on the counter for self service, okay 👍. Then I asked for cream on top of the coffee and they put that on the counter for self service as well. At this point I was relieved to have had a coffee without bothering the staff any future with my questions about what seemed to be a friendly environment with great pictures of the coffee they offered. I'll be sure to do my own research next time before I ask them anything about...
