So, the blower motor decided to give up the ghost on the morning with a heat wave starting, heat index of 100°F +. It's a furnace with central air, installed in 1995. I assume than the motor was original. I called around to a few places, one didn't know if they could sell to consumers directly, one could get a motor, but it would be a few days, but I got a price quote anyways, just in case I couldn't find one local.
Well, buried in the Google results was Dey Distributing. I called, they had two in stock, and price was less than I was quoted from the other company, and I believe it was on par with Amazon's price, without having to wait 7-10 days for delivery.

The problem was I was 35 minutes away and they close at noon. The lady stayed after hours until I got there, and I put everything back together before having a house full of people over. This does not happen anymore! I am grateful and highly recommend Dey Distributing to anyone who needs...
Read moreI have used Dey several times over the last few years and they have always had the parts I need or can get them quickly. Yes, you can usually find cheaper parts on the internet if you scour the bargain sites, but I'm willing to pay a couple extra dollars when my AC unit goes out in the middle of summer. Also, these guys aren't going to win any congeniality awards, but they know their stuff. Quick, quality parts from people who work in my town is always a win in my book....
