Taco Boy — Restaurant in Green Bay

I don't like leaving negative reviews on local businesses, so I will keep it brief and then leave a positive recommendation. That being stated, don't expect the food that you see when you order. I'm not talking about the way we all already know food is not going to appear the same as the pictures. I'm saying the food on the menu is not what you get. If I get assaulted for typing something honest and candid rather than going into detail, we'll I suppose I will update my post with vivid details. That's always an option.

I will say the young woman at the register was very polite and extremely patient with helping me order, I am not fluent in Spanish and she didn't even appear upset with me. My son and I danced and laughed and enjoyed ourselves while we waited for our order to be prepared. And the customers coming in were kind and sociable also. It was a fun place to have our son.

If I were to go back I would definitely order their guacamole. I actually really enjoy getting different personally made guacamole. When something shows up and it's not the same grocery store mush from a bag I get excited, and they have an outstanding recipe. Get ready to pay ridiculous prices! I never experienced before on any Mexican restaurant. Got some steak tostadas the other day just to find out they cost 12 dollars each 🤣 and they were not worth it the $12 dollars. I been paying in other Mexican restaurants $6 dollars with everything on it that includes beans sour cream lettuce tomatoes and avocados and it tastes better than this. I came to this place cause was the only Mexican food restaurant open at 11:00pm. I ended buying 6 tostadas and one Torta for a total of $86 dollars no drinks. The most I ever paid for Mexican foods. OMG!!! Just moved to the area and was out for a drive with my husband! Saw Taco Boy & had to stop. Do not sleep on this place!!! We lived in Texas for 10+ years and no where else has ever had any tacos that compared to Texas. That was until NOW!!!! Try Taco Boy ( do not get them American, let them make them their way with Cilantro, Diced Onions, Verde sauce on Corn Tortillas) You will absolutely love them.
