Negative vaccine experience at this store.
We arrived 10 minutes before our appt time and checked in for COVID booster. After 30 minutes of waiting (i.e. 20 minutes after our scheduled appt) I went to the counter to check status. Staff saw me standing there and wouldn't even acknowledge me. I asked about the status, they said pharmacist will be right out. 10 minutes later still no change. I go back to the counter again, pharmacist he's coming now.
5 minutes later Pharmacist comes to the room. I get mine, as he's doing my wife's shot one of the pharmacy staff enters the room and tells the pharmacist to come back because customers are waiting for prescriptions.
We are customers also. Where was this urgency about customers waiting when I was waiting 45 minutes for my shot? Why couldn't the staff tell other customer's "He's coming right out" and make them wait longer as they did with us?
It's not just the wait that I'm upset about, I don't think the staff treated us fairly. They showed concern for other customers waiting, but not for us.

Read moreApparently their 2nd Drive Thru lane is broken. There is zero indication that it's broken, there is no sign, no caution tape, nothing to show the consumer that it is a non functioning lane. Once you go inside you're greated by 2 pharmacists running the entire are because they are short staffed and they apologize because they are 'trying yo keep the drive thru open'. I explained to them i was in the drive tru trying to drop off and that's when i was informed it was out of order. The pharmacists kept apologizing that they are 'doing the best they can' and 'they want to keep the drive thru open'. I was apathetic and apologized for my outburst, but i was one of those drive thru people that got turned away because the drop off lane is broken but not marked or indicated in any way shape or form that it was out of service. If there are only 2 people there there should be protocols in place for these situations. Read moreI have used this CVS for years, and I have watched the lines grow at the pharmacy since the pandemic. Despite being well understaffed, staff at the store helped to remedy an issue with my prescription stemming from the policy of filling with generics which does not require notifying the patient. Due to this, when the automated system alerted me that my script was ready I did not recognize the medication. I phoned my doctor, questioning why the prescription had not been phoned in. Ultimately, a great deal of time was spent between the pharmacy and my doctor sorting out needless confusion due to insufficient communication in the system.
I would like to thank Andrew Wea, Pharmacist, Adam Harley, Clerk, and Brittany Simmons, Store Manager, for going well above and beyond to help get my medication to me expeditiously at the end of their day knowing that my medication had run out.
