I paid the company to do diagnose on my car and they didn't complete the diagnosis and wish me to pay 480 for just changing a brake switch. I have a mitsubishi evo and a month ago, the car start to have asc light on when I drive. So I bring it to Liccardi, they charged me 159 for diagnosis which is reasonable. However, they did't completely diagnose my car. They hooked the OBDII reader and just tell me my brake switch is stuck. The service manager wants to charge me another 480 for changing the brake switch and he says he will make further diagnosis after changing it. The correct thing he also mentioned that is my brake lights are not working, and POSSIBLY I need a pair of brake lights. I talked to the service manager and confirming if they have tested the brake switch and if they are sure the brake switch is malfunctioning. The service manager start to become impatient and just tell me that they have tested. I come back home and read the service manual. It took me only 30 seconds to take the brake switch off!!!!!!! An OEM brake switch cost at most 35USD. I tested the continuity of the switch which come out that the switch is totally fine! Then I start to test my brake lights, they are not working. SO, LICCARDI DIDN'T TEST THE SWITCH AND BRAKE LIGHTS. It's just a simple thing with a multimeter. I changed my brake bulb myself and boom, all of the warning lights are gone. LICCARDI DOESN'T PERFORM THE DIAGNOSIS CORRECTLY AND SIMPLY WANTS TO CHEAT MORE MONEY!!!! TRY KNOW YOUR CAR MORE BEFORE COMING TO LICCARDI! FRAUDULENT DEALER. Luckily I checked myself before signing the insane 480...
Read moreI had a terrible experience with Paul (manager) and his dealership. I traveled over an hour based on the information given to me over the phone, only to find out that everything I was promised was a lie. I have a recording of the conversation where Paul agreed to offer me a discount, but when I arrived, he completely denied it.
I had two vehicles in mind and asked for quotes on both. Paul gave me a quote for one and, when I asked about the other, he said it would be an additional $1,300. I agreed to go with that option. The paperwork was done, my loan got approved, and everything seemed fine until I noticed on one of the documents that the vehicle was listed as a 2-wheel drive, not the 4-wheel drive I was told.
When I asked to switch to the other vehicle with the $1,300 difference, Paul, the manager, increased the price to a shocking $4,600 and demanded that I pay that amount upfront. I reminded him that he had earlier agreed to the $1,300 difference, but he was rude and unhelpful. He kept me waiting for almost five hours, and by the time I left, I was exhausted and felt completely taken advantage of.
What made this worse is that they ran credit inquiries without my consent, damaging my credit score. I have lost valuable time, my credit rating has been impacted, and I feel completely betrayed by this dealership.
Please do yourself a favor and avoid this place. They are scammers who will waste your time, manipulate you, and take advantage of you. All the positive reviews here seem to be paid for, so don't trust them. Stay away from...
Read moreI recently purchased a brand-new Outlander SE Black Edition from Liccardi Mitsubishi, and I couldn't be more pleased with the entire experience.
From the start, Paul (the manager) was instrumental in securing the best deal for us. He was approachable, transparent, and genuinely looked out for our interests — not something you experience at every dealership. His efforts made a real difference and set the tone for a positive transaction.
Tom (our sales consultant) was equally impressive. He showed incredible patience, walking us through the numbers and making sure we fully understood every part of the deal. No rush, no pressure — just honest and professional service. It made the decision process feel comfortable and right.
Jimmy, who handled prepping our new Outlander for takeover, also deserves a shoutout. He made sure everything was spotless, well-prepped, and ready for us to drive away feeling confident and proud. It's the small details like this that round out a top-class buying experience.
In my opinion, this team operates with a refreshing mix of professionalism and personal care. From a Hopatcong view, where community values and trust still matter, Liccardi Mitsubishi's team fits right in.
Overall, it was a true win-win — we got a fantastic car at a great value, and the dealership earned loyal customers who will happily recommend them to family and friends. Thank you again to Paul, Tom, and Jimmy for making this such a memorable...
