SUPERCUTS — Local services in Green Brook Township

Don't make an appointment. There is no point! I go here all the time. I booked an appointment for highlights days in advance. Walked in on-time and was told I have people ahead of me. It will be 20 min. 35 minutes later I asked she said they are running behind "clearly that's why I told you 20 min we are a walk in facility". I told her "its now 35 min and all those people before me are done and 1 came in after me was taken too. I had an appointment you could have called me and told me I would have done other things or came later, or came earlier as a "walk- in". She said "we don't provide those services to call you and notify you. I am being nice to you and respectful. So if you want to stay you can have a seat." At this point, one person already messed up a kids haircut the parents were mad, the other is flustered and rushed because she is in middle of someone else's highlights, clearly angry because I asked how long it was gonna be. I told her "I need my hair done, but this is not a good situation, I'm not getting my hair done by anyone that's busy, angry or rushed. Thank you." and walked out. I don't want fried hair or to be bald. I have bragged about this place to many family and friends who have loved my hair. But this is just plain messed up. Appointments don't come 1st here... only walk ins do. But if you call in for highlights, you get told you have to make an appointment, but they won't tell you come early because of the walk ins. I'm just very disappointed I thought I had finally found...

I WENT THERE ONCE AND AM NEVER GOING BACK AGAIN. First, the woman cutting my hair made me brush my own hair to get any knots out (with a brush that WAS NOT sanitized). Then she put the cloak over me but she might as well have not even bothered considering it was not covering anywhere she was cutting and all the hair either ended up stuck all over my sweatshirt or sitting in my lap. On top of this, SHE MADE ME STAND THE ENTIRE TIME! She only sprayed the back of my hair and not the sides or front and started cutting away with the scissors by simply LOOKING at what looks even to her. She didn't bother to touch my hair or use a comb to make sure it was all even and straight across. I asked her nicely to spray all of my hair so I can tell it is even. She claimed that you do not have to spray it all but I have wavy hair so I know for a fact that the wet pieces end up shorter than the dry pieces. I sincerely doubt her license is...

I had got a bad cut from a place I won't mention. And they even burned my daughters eyebrows badly when she decided to get eyebrows waxed. I went to super cuts today and was nervous but the woman who cut my hair was Deana. She reassured me she would take her time and do exactly what I wanted. SHE WAS AWESOME !!! I would recommend her to everyone. And I'm going back because I trust her to fix my highlights like i want. I've been asking the person who did them and she always ignored me. Deana is the best. Thanks Deana for a great cut and I didn't even have to take a Xanax like I always do cuz Im always nervous from all my bad experiences. Fantastic price and great experience! !!
