I came here on 5/12/25 the Monday after Mother’s Day with my husband. The place was dead which is expected at 7pm on a Monday but that wasn’t an issue for me I was excited to get a private hibachi experience. The salad and soups were very good, so I was excited that we were starting off on the right foot, but then our hibachi chef came out and his performance was terrible and the food he made was terrible. He must have been new, because he was so nervous and shy. He didn’t talk to us AT ALL, he wasn’t singing or making jokes, he didn’t even flip food into our mouths like a traditional hibachi place does. He was looking straight down the entire time and did not engage with us. He seemed annoyed to be doing his job. It was so awkward. He was in a major rush and just wanted to get done with us, which I couldn’t understand because it wasn’t even busy! He didn’t season any of the food. ZERO flavor. Thank god we ordered the extra fried rice for $3 each because if not we would have been left with only the flavorless noodles. The fried rice didn’t even have flavor, but at least I was able to cover it in the sauces they provided at the table. I ordered the filet and chicken and I had to dip every piece of meat into the sauces just to get flavor. I tried the meats without the table sauces and it literally tasted like MEAT. Just picture someone taking chicken out of a package, putting it on a grill, and then putting it on your plate. That’s how boring and tasteless.. Our bill was over $100 for two people. I feel bad my husband had to pay for this for a lazy chef and underwhelming food. This place needs to start using SEASONING for their food and actually review their chef’s performances because that was terrible. I went to a different hibachi place a month ago and it was amazing so this place needs to step it up. I will never...
Read moreTook my godson and his fiancé to dinner there for his birthday … first his fiancé advised that she has a gluten issue and since they didn’t have gluten free noodles could they substitute brown rice for the noodles … nope, you can have a bowl of brown rice for $3.50 extra … I ordered the pork hibachi dinner and the fiancé ordered the chicken hibachi … they got his meal straight… the waitress brings my dish and there’s shrimp on the plate first … I am allergic to shrimp … then I notice it is chicken and not pork … they told the fiancé her food is delayed… she comes back and tells me she gave me chicken … duh and takes it away …. Then 5 minutes later she returns and puts the plate she had put in front of me in front of the fiancé… same plate and then tells me that they have to make my food … half hour later I haven’t anything .. then she takes away my godson’s plate and tells me my food is on its way … excuse me but everyone is done eating … why do I want it now? Tells me I can take it home … did I order take out???? Totally disappointed… and they write how much to tip? I rounded it up to the nearest dollar … that’s your tip .. maybe you can put in the order correctly next time so everyone can enjoy their meal together? Won’t be going back there any time soon … they should have done something but did nothing to make me feel better about going there!!! Plus they allowed kids to run around making noise...
Read moreVery disappointed. I was really excited to have a dinner out with my close friends, especially since I have been talking up the restaurant. I had called ahead and asked if seating was available they said oh sure no problem come on down. So we met at the restaurant and they said it will be about 15 minutes, we waited for 45 minutes, and they were seating parties who have arrived after us. But we waited patiently. When they finally did seat us, they sat another party with us, but there wasnt even a chair in between us, but at some of the other tables they had chairs separating parties. Isnt that covid protocol. I went up to the front desk and told they guy there needs to be a chair separating us, he said "Oh you don't feel comfortable, you can wait for another table" I said we were here first, they should wait. Needless to say we left and they didnt care. What upset me even more, they did not look like they were following any type of covid protocol, the restaurant was packed, people waiting were all cramed in the front. The reason why I am writing this is because I usually go there about 3 times during the month for sushi takeout so I was really excited to bring my friends there for the first time. I have to say, because of tonight, I dont think I will be going back, even for take out. It's not worth...
