In a sentence: this might be a nice salon, but they cannot do wedding hair and makeup.

I was a bridesmaid and had my hair and makeup done by this salon (they came on site).

My hair was done in less than 30 mins, and was passable for something I could do myself. Hardly any bobby pins were used, the hair spray wouldn't hold and my hair was falling out of the updo before I got out of the chair. The other bridesmaids to have their hair done by the stylist had the same issue and we all spent over an hour in the bathroom fixing each other's hair, using hairspray ourselves and reinforcing with additional bobby pins. At the end of the night, I only had 30 bobby pins which was after I had added at least 15 myself.

My airbrushed makeup was a disaster and I can't believe that she was allowed to do makeup for anyone let alone for a special event. She used the wrong base color and kept layering different colors on my chin until she got the color it was supposed to be; which made my chin and mouth area incredibly cakey. She only did highlighter on one side of my face and didn't blend anything at all. I had no makeup on my forehead/around my eyebrows. Two different colors of eyeshadows were used on each eye (brown on one eye, silver on the other), the eyelashes were not natural looking (as requested) one was put higher than the other and the eyelashes breached to my eyebrows. I ended up removing them before the event started. My eyeliner did not match either -One side had a wing one side did not. No mascara or lipstick was used or provided by the stylist. I have had my makeup airbrushed before for weddings and never run into something as horrific as this. Again, the bridesmaids whose makeup was done had to go to the bathroom and start over completely so that we didn't look horrific going down the aisle/for photos.

I cannot recommed the team at GreenRoom Salon and Spa enough! The services are truly top notch. Jamie and her team are very knowledgeable and support each other seamlessly - ensuring that each guest has the best possible experience. The staff take the time to really get to know you. I look forward to my appointments, knowing that the overall atmosphere will be light and fun during my time in the salon chair.

The actual salon is something to see - truly beautiful decor that is both upscale and comfortable. I have personally witnessed each staff member keep a careful eye on maintaining cleanliness to keep their guests safe. I have no anxiety being in the salon pre, during or post pandemic.

I just can't say enough about the positive experiences I have had with Jamie in this salon. She has transformed my look and I feel more confident after every appointment. My hair is healthier, my color has been corrected and optimized to really suit my complexion and style, and the salon products are some of the best you can find.
