Lunch at Don Julio in Greencastle was a pleasant experience. The restaurant overlooks the courthouse on the square. The food was fresh and very tasty. The staff was attentive and friendly. The prices were reasonable. You may have to park a few doors down due to all the courthouse traffic but that was not a big deal for me. Enjoy

Good food. I had the Steak Fajitas and my Mom had the Chicken Primavera. Both, very tasty and filling. The iron pan kept the steak etc... sizzling for a couple minutes. Their chips and salsa were very good. Chips were not as greasy as some other places and the salsa was one of the best I've tasted.

I had a really great experience here all around! I just needed a quick solo meal, and they had great prices, service, and food! The amount of food I got for $11 was astounding frankly, and very tasty! Would absolutely come here again if I find myself in Greencastle!

Visit started off good. We got our chip and food fairly quickly. Server was friendly in the beginning. However, after we were done eating, it was a very long time until our server came back to the table. While we were eating, he did give us more water but didn’t say anything. Then when we were done eating, we sat around and waited for awhile. I do not have an exact time for how long it took, but based on when I started checking my watch, it was at least 30 minutes until we saw him again (and that is a lowball estimate, it was longer but I wasn’t checking my watch until then). He passed by us quickly about 4 times during that time but he was never looking in our direction and was moving very quickly so we couldn’t flag him down. Two other larger tables who were seated after us left in that time, because their server was around more to help them. When he finally came back, he dropped off the check and didn’t say anything about the amount of time it had been. He also didn’t ask if we needed take out containers. At that point we didn’t care because we wanted to leave. I want to give the benefit of the doubt and say maybe he was busy and didn’t realize how long it had been since he visited our table. It just felt uncomfortable sitting there for so long. However, other people seemed to be getting quick service so you may have a better experience depending on the...

Decided to try this place out for dinner and we will never be back. Now, I’m not one to write bad reviews, I just don’t come back. This will be an exception. There was a wait when we walked in, completely fine. What wasn’t fine is the fact that a group that came in probably 15 minutes after us were seated before us. The manager came up and noticed one of the people in the group, assuming a barstool regular, and told the hostess to clean off the table and seat them. She let him know we were here first, he looked right at me, waved her off, and pointed at the other party and then to the table. I know this wasn’t her fault, she tried to do the right thing but he dismissed her. As a manager, every customer should matter no matter how many times they come in. Then, to wave us off as a “F you” was the cherry on top. This place will never receive a penny from me or anyone I can warn. Do yourself a favor and go to Casa Grande! Much cleaner atmosphere, management is friendly, plenty of seating, and most of all you’re seated in the order...

Very disappointed. Food is a strange "rendering" of Mexican food. And not a very good one. 😑 Food was bland; not made as described in the menu. The "fried" chimichangas were soft and mushy. The steak burrito was nothing more than pieces of steak wrapped in a flour tortilla. The side of queso we ordered was as thin and watery as a glass of skim milk. The fried ice cream was made with, get this, Neapolitan Ice Cream! Yuck! NEVER had chocolate, strawberry and vanilla fried ice before. Didn't eat it after the first couple bites. Complained to waitress about it. Still had to pay for it. Not sure if she understood our complaint as she didn't speak English well, however. Waitress was friendly, but didn't give very good service. When she brought the dessert plates, our table of 5 still had all the lunch plates on the table. Instead of clearing away some of the table to make room for the desserts, she just handed us our dessert plates. We had to ask for her to please remove some of the plates for us before she walked away. Won't...
