Hampton Station — Local services in Greenville

At first it may appear to be in a sketchy area but Greenville is doing a good job revitalizing areas that haven't been used in years. Hampton Station is near the Swamp Rabbit trail, but still needs a little more sidewalk area to make the connection. There are several good restaurants on site as well as axe throwing, a pet motel, a bike shop, a Barber, and beer, tacos, sandwiches, salads are also available. There is a fair amount of outdoor space with picnic tables and grassy area. It's not far from downtown Greenville. New businesses seem to be opening up often. If they repainted the water tower, repaved the roads and improved the SRT connections, it will attract more customers - but still is crowded at times, especially on the weekends. Lots of cool stuff in this little area. CrossFit, taco place, axe throwing, really neat beer joint, homemade pottery... Just be warned, there are some roads that have been permanently closed for a long time but even over a year now my GPS still tries to take me on those roads and it did it to my friend as well. If that happens you just get back on the main road and go down a little further and then you can turn left...

Went there based on suggestion form the Greenville Visitor's Bureau website. The only places open at 2:00 on a Wednesday were a brew pub , White Duck Taco Shop and a pet hotel. I'll bet it's a lot of fun on a Friday night but not worth the trip during the day.
