Poe Mill DIY Skatepark — Attraction in Greenville

This park is rad. Like a park from EA Skate. Its good for practicing rollerblading for me cause its got so many different flat rails and ledges. It inspires creativity by using a lot of unusual street type terrain. A lot of the ramps are too steep though which is kind of dangerous and they could lower the angle a little. It even has a pit full of trash you can jump into like a foam pit. But srsly some one should build an indoor skatepark next to it. They could also clean up the part with the trash pit and build a mini halfpipe or something there and a foam pit where the trash pit is thatd be awesome. They could add ramps where the dirt is too. Its too bad they tore the factory down cause a indoor park could have been built in it. Theres a lot they could do to add to the park next to whats there on the concrete. Needs a clean up of the over growth & maybe some place out of the way of the skaters to sit , take a break or watch your kid skate. Trash removal would be great , the trash cans are over flowing. It's nice to have a place that is open to all & free because everywhere else is either to far away or cost to much. A little clean up & care would make it better, this is great place that's local to our community & gives the kids a place to go that they can skate , skateboard, roller skate, ride their...

There's something special about this place that I don't think I've seen at any other park I've skated. Not all the transitions are perfect but that just makes you a better skater, it teaches you to adapt and find a way.... And a shout out to all the people that put in work 4 over a decade to give us our Park..and all the friends I've met and the camaraderie ...this place is awesome, SAVED MY LIFE @...
