I'm a dry wine lover, and was a little skeptical thinking mead would be too sweet for me. I stand corrected!!! With 18 meads on tap, there is a flavor profile for everyone. While there are several recommended flights to start with, if you discuss your preferences, the server will make a solid recommendation of meads that you might enjoy. A very satisfying experience with the tasting, I walked away with a few bottles as well. Beyond that, the environment is very relaxing and tastefully laid out and part of the exciting Hampton Station complex, the service is phenomenal, and you can tell the owners truly love the craft and sharing with their guests. BTW, I shouldn't fail to mention there is food here as well. Overly-generous charcuterie boards made for sharing, sandwiches and salads that look very tasty. I had the grilled cheese with caramelized onions and sliced apple and thought it was amazing. Do yourself a favor and give something new a try....if you've never had mead, now's the time. I'll definitely be...

You are able to change any of the preselected drinks if another sounds too good to pass up. The beginner flight gave me the chance to experience their unique flavors and profiles. The Battle Bard mead was the biggest surprise of the night. I am not a fan of hops including IPA's and was informed that this "dry-hoped" drink was not like that. They were 100% correct. I was able to taste the hops but the bitterness associated with IPA's simply wasn't there. It was very pleasant and I would definitely order it again. This establishment is in the perfect complex with other businesses creating a destination for a...
Read moreWe always have a great time here! I love how open it is! The space is really cool and the meads are all delicious! I haven’t tried one that I didn’t like! Their different foods are also really yummy! The stand-out mead for me was their Reaper-er mead. I love spicy things and year round they have a Peach Reaper with is made with the Carolina reaper pepper. This past winter they had the Reaper-er which was hotter than the original (I can’t remember how many times more hot they said, unfortunately.) It is absolutely my favorite mead! The spice with the cool sweetness is just absolutely delicious and I hope it comes back! Until then, every one of their meads is absolutely incredible and I can’t wait to continue going...
