Due South Coffee Review Due South Coffee is a vibrant spot with a fantastic location, perfect for a quick stop while exploring the area. Nestled in a bustling area with plenty of parking and lots to do nearby, itâs a convenient choice for a coffee break. The atmosphere is lively, with lots of people with laptops, making it a great place to get some work done if you can snag a seat. If not, there are plenty of benches outside to enjoy your drink in the fresh air. I went with the baristaâs recommendation and ordered the sparkling hibiscus tea, which was a total winâcrisp, refreshing, and bursting with subtle floral and fruity notes that made it a perfect pick-me-up. Unfortunately, the muffin I ordered was a letdown; it was dense and served cold, so I wouldnât get it again. The lack of seating around midday can be a challenge due to the crowd, so you might need to plan for takeout during peak hours. The service is quick and friendly, and the prices are reasonable for the quality. If youâre in the area, Due South is worth a visit for their stellar drinks like the hibiscus tea, just maybe...
Read moreI'm a real coffee connoisseur. I'm Italian, from Boston, and a bit of a coffee snob. That being said, Due South is officially my favorite coffee shop of anywhere I've ever been, anywhere. They have the BEST latte of anywhere I've ever been. It is consistently good with absolutely no aftertaste. The location is in a run-down historic mill, so the atmosphere is very hipster and artsy. Fri and Sat nights there is live music. They roast their own coffee which is to die for. On warm evenings the open up all the garage doors and the whole place becomes open air. The one thing I will say is sometimes it seems like seating is low...Seems like they could fit a lot more chairs in there than they do. But I have not ever been without a place to sit. Heard they are moving locations which makes me very sad since they are so close to my home. I tell all my friends about Due South and bring them here myself if I have to....
Read moreSuper quaint coffee shop. The coffee is excellent (they clearly care about quality and roasting), but what makes this place stand out is the people behind it. Itâs not just about serving coffee â itâs about creating a space where people feel at home.
If youâre in Greenville and want a spot with great coffee and even better community, Due South is the place. Met the owner, Ricardo, during the Sunday School bike ride (my very first group ride back in the Upstate). Heâs genuinely friendly and welcoming, and it really shows in the atmosphere here. Great coffee, great people, and a perfect spot to hang out after a ride or just enjoy a relaxing cup.
