Well. I really am speechless because I do not know where to start. I ordered a couch set from Mack’s and paid for it in full the day that I ordered it. I found the set online with Ashley’s furniture but be it that Mack’s has furnished my house in the past I decided to use them again and they match prices. I actually found the set cheaper on another website but against my gut (mainly because a friend of mine had them deliver furniture and damaged his brand new home and broke the furniture in the process) And the interaction with the salesman he convinced me to purchase through them because it was local. During the pandemic I experienced loss of employment, deaths, and so much more which really set me back to say the absolute least. To my error of being distracted by life events I wasn’t able to retrieve my furniture and it pretty much was housed there during the pandemic which was months longer than I anticipated. I tried to call to see if I could get a refund or something bc I wasn’t able to get it. I was told that they sold the set and they couldn’t give me any refund or store credit. I paid almost $1k for the set. So not only did they mark up the price on the couches and make a profit, they kept my $900 plus as well. No remorse, no sympathy, nothing. I will accept full responsibility for not following up like I should or effectively communicating in a timely fashion about my circumstances. It literally cost me $1000. It blows me how eager this place is too take your coins but slow to be empathetic during a pandemic. I will never step foot in that place again. Read moreThis is literally the worst furniture store I have ever been to. I don't even want to give them one star. I bought two new recliners from them for $300 each plus tax. Got them home and found that the handle was about to fall off one of them and the other wouldn't even stay on the tracks. When I would put it back it would jump off track and the whole chair would wobble like it was about to fall over and break. Called Macks immediately and they said sorry can you send us pictures. I sent videos and pictures of handle and track jumping off. The rollers were all scratched up like it had been used before. Well the lasy said those are special order so she would get me another one ordered. A week later I hadn't heard anything so I call and she says there isn't an arrival date they know of. If it's special order they don't know when it will be there til it shows up. So I waited another week and called again and she said they are still waiting on it. I asked to talk to Mack himself and he said they don't replace them without them inspecting it first to see if they can fix it. So I was lied to about the replacement being ordered. And he says just bring it by. Hard to do when I live over an hour away. I got him to agree to meeting me halfway and he said he would call me with a date to meet. Read moreWe came here for a bedroom set for our daughter. It was a poor furniture shopping experience. No one was in a huge hurry to help us like at most stores. Maybe they don't make commission here or something. The best thing we found here was the price of our furniture. The place is large inside with a wide variety of furniture but the staff was dissapointing. Our salesman didn't really seem enthusiastic about selling and not too knowledgeable of the products he was selling. They had all our furniture in stock except one piece that we were told would be a maximum two week wait. We went ahead and paid for everything, which was probably my first mistake because now they have our money. We waited, and after two weeks called to check on our furniture. We were told it was not there and we would be contacted when it was. Another week went by still no furniture so we call again to no avail. I wanted to go back and get a refund and take my money somewhere else, but this place is an hour away from our home. Another week went by so we called again and they finally went to check the back room and it was there.
