I have been using this business as both my legal address as a FullTime RVer and my small business address. As a disabled customers, they have always been polite, friendly, and provided excellent service in times of delivery issues or needing to print, ship, notarize, or buy supplies. Most recently, typing up a letter to send to a retailer as "proof" the package with that tracking number was never received. Saving me a lot of headaches and time trying to go to USPS to figure out why the tracking info shows delivered 🤔 if I had a normal mail box I wouldn't have been able to prove the package wasn't deliver other than maybe a security camera? 🙃
Postal Annex is also very professional with service dogs and understanding of "on-duty"-training / behavior reinforcement moments. I recall having one once when mine was suprised/excited seeing a dog that looked like another dog he knows "off duty" he obeyed his down command with a visual blockage to seeing the other service dog, still present and working, but simultaneously he was whimpering out a tempertantrum for a few minutes (taking a mental health break) till he was ready to work again. Everyone was understanding, staff and the other handler smiling, watching my goof cry as her service dog quietly empathized but remained professional "on-duty". (everyone needs a break sometimes to cry when work is very stressful and you don't want to be at work right now, but boss says you gotta work and who's ganna pay for housing and buy food if u don't work?!!!).
The cute shop inside also has some interesting and locally sourced items great for gifting and supporting other local small businesses, artists,...
Read morePosting for a friend of mine who was there today and had a worker be completely rude to her for something that wasn't even her fault. The cashier used my friends old number to try and contact her (they've had her updated info for a while) about a couple of packages she had mailed out that needed some confirmation. So, instead of walking up to my friend and politely asking to speak with her, the cashier yelled out her name across the store and was saying how it was my friends fault that she hadn't answered her phone at all when she tried to call (remember, wrong number), and that she needed to pick up the phone next time she tried to call/text her. My friend told her that if she had contacted the right number she would've been able to reach her, and the lady basically ended up saying she was making her job difficult. Now, I have worked customer service jobs before. Most of them have been waitressing, minus a couple. I know how difficult it can be to work with customers sometimes. But I also know that mistakes are made, and if you're going to make a little mistake like not calling the right phone number, at least don't be so much of a coward that you won't own up to your mistake and simply apologize instead of making such a big deal out of it. That rude attitude reflects on you as a person and the business you're working for, and it's disgusting when people act like a complete fool simply to make someone else...
Read moreI tried to give the situation tome to see if it would be resolved but it's been almost 5 months and it hasn't. First, please understand this is not the post office. My husband used it thinking it was affiliated with the USPS and he was wrong. We dropped off a package with a dress worth $100 and it disappeared. I got the run around about it and months later ot hasn't been resolved and I'm out $100 and they don't care at all. I wasn't given any sort of compensation although I have proof showing it was dropped off with them. Not a book of stamps, a store credit, nothing at all and I'm out $100! Never trust them with your package. I was told they had proof that the post office picked it up. The proof was what they call a manifest that was initialed by the post office allegedly. The ost office said they don't have any scans of the package saging it was ever on their possession So they can't help me. I've submitted several inquiries and claims and nothing can be done because this Annex store won't take responsibility. The manager was nice to me but the employee I spoke with was absolutely rude and unhelpful and was more interested in rushing me off rhe phone than actually listening to what...
