Keeping up with the latest trends and styles is a very important aspect of our lives! Purchasing NEW furniture is like upgrading your wardrobe, exciting but costly! I visited a few furniture stores in Greenville, and when it was time for me to decide where to purchase my furniture from…FURNITURE DISTRIBUTORS was my choice. When I arrived, I was greeted at the door by Tracey, who made me feel like I was a celebrity (she opened the door and literally rolled out the red carpet…lol). Walt immediately dashed to greet me and asked how he could help. I told him I was just looking and wanted to check on various styles and brands along with pricing. I’m not an impulsive buyer and I don’t like pushy sales associates. Oftentimes when you tell an associate that you’re “just looking” their enthusiasm immediately leaves and they're no longer interested in assisting you. Oh noooooo, NOT Walt, he remained upbeat and eager to assist me, even though I told him I was just looking. Walt was very patient, thorough, and literally answered a million questions. We sat down and reviewed brands, pricing, and all the little detailed aspects that were important to me. Walt answered every question and even offered additional suggestions, right down to evaluating the “the stress” of the material for the couches. I was so impressed by the Superior customer service, thoroughness, attentiveness to detail, and kindness that I was ready to purchase. I returned a week later, and Walt was the same energetic and awesome person he was the day I first went to the store. Walt assisted me with purchasing a love seat, a chofa (I told Walt that I loved Chaise chairs, and he showed me the chofa- a sofa and chaise in ONE- I was floored) and a new bedroom suite! Dana was amazing as well and assisted with the financial aspects and I didn’t have to put any money down! In addition, while I waited for Walt and Dana to process everything, Mrs. Jill came and checked on me multiple times. She ensured that I was happy with everything and if I needed anything else. She was super sweet! She even went to McDonald’s to get the staff breakfast, and even asked me if I wanted breakfast as well. Read moreTo whom it may concern. I purchased a kitchen table from Furniture Distributors in Greenville, NC in June. This was my second experience with this company. When they delivered my table they removed my old table. My daughter told the delivery guys that it would be better to take the table out the front door instead of kitchen door because we had moved in the original table and had to come in the front door. My daughter said the delivery guys said "It would be okay" and when they moved it they scratched my wood kitchen floor. I called the Greenville branch and spoke to the manager and he said he would refer it to customer service. I got a text on June 16th asking for photos of damaged floor which I sent the same day. June 17th I got a text back that they had received photos and they were going to send it over to management team. I got a follow up text on June 17th saying they were going to turn it over to the VP who handles all in home damages. It would be within the next week and I would hear something back. As of July 6th I still have not heard anything back from the VP regarding the damaged flooring. I guess at this point I would really appreciate a straight answer from someone whether they have any concern about damaging someones floor when delivering furniture. I did everything they asked me to do, sending pictures, and have been patient not calling or sending texts about the situation. I guess Furniture Distributors is more concerned about making a sale than delivering good customer service. Read moreDisappointed. We've previously had good experiences at this store. The staff is friendly, informative and not pushy. However, we attempted to purchase a dining room set over 3 months ago and never received it. We had to call every few weeks to see if there were any updates. My wife went back to the store to find out what was going on and it was discovered our order was never completed. This was after we had already paid in full and checked with the store at least five times. She was understandably frustrated and asked for a refund.
I left a message on their website trying to see if there was anyway we could resolve this since we really liked the set. Someone emailed me back immediately and let me know that the regional manager should contact me in the next day or two. After two days I called the office he was scheduled to be in and was told he had left for the day, but they would let him know I called. It's now been a week since I reached out to them and we still have not heard anything.
