Could not recommend this shop more! Before I even had the appointment, the shop owner reached out to get inspiration pictures, and even offered an option for me to look for and let me know it would be available for the sample sale. As soon as I walked in, Several people were there greeting me with smiles and as kind as they possibly could be. My stylist Lauren came over right away and immediately sat down with me and listened to what I wanted. She then took me out to look at the dresses myself, and helped me pull whatever I wanted to try, and gave her opinion while still focusing first on what I thought. She made the try on process extremely comfortable, and did a great job balancing what I thought, what my mom thought, and her professional opinion. I only ended up trying on 3, but found the most beautiful, unique black gown that I was able to take home that day. They were extremely transparent about pricing for all the dresses I tried on, gave thorough thoughts on what alterations would help the dress fit best. I was also extremely impressed with how the owner came over and gave her thoughts and helped me feel confident and special about my purchase, and while I can’t speak for the other customers in the shop, I did see that she was going around doing that for everybody! It is extremely rare to see an owner or even a manger so involved and actively wanting to interact with their brides and consultants. Even though I know sample sales are always busy, I did not feel rushed to try on dresses, make a decision, or even purchase and hurry out of the store. After having a not so great experience somewhere else, I came in with low expectations, and was completely blown away with the entire experience here. Genuinely cannot recommend this...
Read moreDecent quality/selection/pricing for dresses. Unprofessionally dressed stylists lacking dedication/knowledge. Veils overpriced. Was there to find matching veil with dress I already had chosen with my mom at another boutique.
I was not allowed to try on my dress I had already bought with their veils. Unreasonable in that sense as most women know things looks different on hanger versus on body with everything as a whole. My dress was simple enough I wouldn’t have even needed assistance zipping up. Every other place I went to including NY Bride Groom and even David’s Bridal let me try on my dress with their veils without issue.
Stylists were dressed in work out clothes/PJs. To clarify, my actual stylist introduced to me was dressed in clothes that look like PJs. It was a contrast to the business casual I’m used to at most bridal boutiques. While they were nice, they were not helpful in advice/effort to help pick out veil or even dresses. I started looking at other dresses there for my ceremony (thought about making previously purchased dress a reception dress due to difficulty with veil match). Figured maybe stylist was better with dresses than veil matching. I was the only customer there along with three workers yesterday afternoon. The amount of people there did not match with the attentiveness that should have been provided. They spent a good bit of time gossiping with each other at front desk instead of helping.
If staff is not going to show dedication or professionalism why charge a $50 appt reservation deposit? Had better service at non-appt boutiques. Found my veil at David’s Bridal. Dress was from Camile La Vie. Places that required appts in area that were also outstanding include Madison Carolina, Dimitri’s,...
Read moreFrom the moment I walked into Silk & Satin, I knew I was in the right place. The boutique itself is stunning—elegant, welcoming, and thoughtfully curated with the most beautiful selection of gowns. But what truly made my experience unforgettable was Trianna.
Trianna was an absolute dream to work with. She listened so carefully to what I was envisioning, made me feel comfortable and confident, and somehow knew exactly what would make me feel like the best version of myself. Her eye for detail and honest, supportive feedback made the entire experience feel effortless and so special.
Finding “the dress” was a moment I’ll never forget—and it’s all thanks to her. She created a space where I could really feel the emotion of that moment without pressure or stress. The entire team at Silk & Satin was so warm and accommodating throughout the process, from fittings to final pickup.
On my wedding day, I felt absolutely radiant. The dress was everything I had hoped for—elegant, timeless, and so me. I received endless compliments, and I owe it all to Trianna and the incredible team at Silk & Satin who made the magic happen.
If you're a bride searching for a boutique that truly cares and will help you shine, run to Silk & Satin. They made my bridal dreams come true, and I’ll be forever grateful.
