I couldn’t be happier with Thomas’s detailing service. He is by far the best professional I met - a true magician!

So here’s the story: I was in the area on a random occasion and just wanted to get my car wash done because my car was a complete mess, covered with weird liquid and dust from the recent renovation work from the garage I park my car in Manhattan (yes the city is cracking down on the garage owners since that one garage collapsed in the Financial District).

I was naively thinking that a solid round of a power wash would clean it up. It turned out, however, the liquid covering my car was a mix of some weird chemicals and construction residue that stained and stuck to the surface of my car which would require special chemicals to remove …🥲

I was so frustrated (at my garage for keeping my car under the construction area; it’s a valet parking only garage) but then Thomas asked me if I could wait about 2 hours or more, so I took a chance and decided to wait instead of visiting other shop near my home. Then…. It was definitely worth it!!!

Thomas not only removed all the stains perfectly in less than 2 hours but he truly showed me what it means to be going “above and beyond”. In addition to removing the stains, but he also took care of the large scratch on my front bumper from an unrelated accident I had!!!That alone would have costed me at least a few grand. He did an amazing work and he and everyone who works there deserve two thumps...

On Aug 16 at around 5:09 PM, I went in for a Super-Interior Cleaning (no exterior). I paid them $85 and waited about 40 min just for them to not even finish the job and leave the interior with the same spots, dust and dirt that I came in with (these spots & dirt could have EASILY been cleaned off). This is the kind of work that you'll pay $85 for. PLEASE see the photos. They worked like they just wanted to rush out and not care. Even when i told the cashier (the guy outside by the booth), he seemed to be reluctant to address the issue.

Also, they told me the shampoo on the seats would "dry in 20 min" and at the time of this review, its been well over 1 hr and its STILL just as wet

The only thing they did well was vacuum & clean the door sills. I'm quite shocked at the lack of effort AND they'll try to SELL you a monthly membership!! I had to drive home and finish the job myself to make it REALLY clean, you know, $85 worth. That's the 2nd highest price for interior, by the way (Maybe you have to pay that extra 25 for those few spots and crumbs 😂).

Please do not waste your money at this location. The only Splash Carwash that seems to be of great quality in the Westchester/Greenwich area is the one in Greenwich directly next to the Mobil station. NOT THIS ONE...

Such a rip off. A car wash for 23.99 and it still sucks and the guy constantly tricks you into getting additional non existent services. Classic bait and switch tactic the Connecticut attorney general needs to investigate. The car was still filthy when I got home.

Revised to respond to the manager: thank you for the response. I have to say the guys you have working at cos cob are very confrontational and extremely anti customer friendly. Did I complain this time? No because the last time I did, the guy held his ground and made me back all the way out to leave. It was frankly embarrassing and angered the piss out of me. What I’m saying is the guy charged me for extra services and I didn’t receive any. That is a bait and switch. Like when you buy coffee and they ask if you want the extra special beans for an extra dollar but it’s all the same coffee. That’s what I got. I got some under car special wash but I watched salt leak out for days. You guys need to be investigated by the attorney general. You’re lucky the state is such a mess and they won’t catch up to your fraud for years. Oh well. At least old GREENWICH car wash is...
