Green & Tonic — Restaurant in Greenwich

I had a very bad experience here . Firstly this restaurant is NOT Organic but for some reason shows up on top of Google search for organic restaurants.

I am taking some treatment I have to be purely organic diet . This is a must! I went inside and asked the girl at the counter what items are organic option here and she said everything is organic. And vegan I asked again why the menu dosent say organic. She was annoyed and said “I said everything on the menu is organic”. And glaring at me. Totally unapproachable. She was acting like she was irritated by my questions so I stopped probing further. I ordered my items . Food was mediocre.

As I was eating, a thought came to not mind that I never seen any place fully organic like this before. I wanted to clarify so I went to another guy in the front desk and asked , which item here is organic. He said not everything is organic here. I was shocked. I already ordered and ate trusting their words . I came all the way to searching for an organic place and was completely misguided. I asked him why the girl misguided me. He was apologetic but she didn’t care - initially she told him “but I thought it was all organic”. A minute later she claimed she misheard. Still lying basically. She never cared to apologize, instead staring at us in anger as if we did something wrong. I asked for the manager’s number and after some runaround, finally was given his contact info to complain. I will update here later on how that went. People search for organic places for multiple reasons , misguiding then is totally not accepted I wonder how Google marked his restaurant as organic - did he pay for that keyword? Once at the store, when specifically asked, they lie. And such outrageous behavior...

On Saturday morning (11/6) was the second time I experienced the rudest service here (same 2 girls) that didn’t even make my drink right. They rather sit on their phones then actually take care of customers. My pumpkin spiced latte was inedible - she literally warmed up the iced coffee instead of using the espresso from the actual machine. As I was leaving and the door was about to close she tried saying have a nice day, and when I didn’t say it back right away her comment was “alrightttt” with an attitude. I was disappointed in the Custer service. I arrived at the store and another couple were ahead of me. I waited keeping my distance and then selecting the items I wanted when the time was appropriate. . I went to the counter to check out. Another customer came in behind me. Apparently this customer was a regular because the women behind the counter overlooked me and preceded to take and fix the other customer's order. Once his order was completed she came back to me.
