I received a food delivery today, and I must say, the experience was just okay. I've tried Indian food from various places in the past, and the offerings here left me somewhat underwhelmed. I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, Veggie Samosas, Basmati Rice, and Garlic Naan. The standout was the Veggie Samosas, although I've had better elsewhere. Unfortunately, the Chicken Tikka Masala disappointed—it was overly sweet and excessively saucy, with an overpowering amount of yogurt. The chicken pieces were sparse and lacked flavor. The Naan was also dry, which was a bit disappointing. Perhaps it was an off day; I'm not entirely sure. The overall reviews for this place are positive, so I'm willing to consider that this might have been a one-off experience. I might give them another try in the future to see if the quality improves.

Modest restaurant for a fancy name. Service and host were great but food needs plenty flavors. The medley was a lot of dry meat. The lamb rogan josh was a sweet curry. Taj Mahal beer was good as ever but the papad appeared oven roasted and bland. For a delhi based owner with Nepali chef the north indian food needs much to be desired. If only Indian food could be judged by colors and flavors!

The absolute worst experience I've ever had with food delivery, especially for the price. I used their online ordering system to order food for a guest at my hotel, so their driver instead of Uber Eat or Grub Hub, and chose to pre-order for an 11 AM delivery. I ordered at 8:44 AM before they opened and called to confirm my order at around 10:30 AM even after I got a confirmation email that my order was good to go. At around 11:20 I called again as I hadn't seen the driver and was told my food was ready, but that the driver hadn't picked it up yet, irritating but it happens. I was assured they would be there any minute and my order would be to me in no more than 15 minutes.

At 11:45 I called again and was told they would call the driver and call me back. At 11:55 I called again and as soon as I identified myself was interrupted and told they'd call me and hung up me on immediately. I kept trying to call for the next 20 minutes with no answer and continued being hung up on. at 12:25 I had a coworker call in an attempt to have them actually talk to someone without immediately getting hung up on and he was able to get them to actually talk to him. They had no idea where the driver was, didn't know where my food was, at that time had no intention of actually making sure I got it, but were going to keep my money. It took my coworker yelling at them to get them to actually bring our food down and that is beyond unacceptable. At the end of the day my food was 2 hours late.

This was the most unacceptable, unprofessional, rude, and infuriating experience I've ever had with food delivery. I will never order anything from them ever again and would never recommend them to anyone. It doesn't matter how good the food is, the service is beyond terrible, they don't care about their customers at all. If I hadn't been locked in to a commitment for a guest on my end I would have flat out cancelled everything and found somewhere else to...
