The Cos Cobber — Restaurant in Greenwich

3/10 Caesar salad, 3/10 Chicken Noodle soup. Two dishes that are extremely difficult to mess up. I got the parmasan on my Caesar in about 6 solid slabs, croutons dry but chewy, dressing on the side in too little of a portion (I didn't specify any which way for the dressing). The Chicken Noodle soup I'm about 90% certain came straight out of a can (or tasted like it, anyway).

I was literally the only person in the place, so food came out quick. My waiter seemed friendly. They brought me a QR code check which was a dead link to a 404 error of their POS vendor, Clover. Waited about 10 minutes while the waiter chatted with the bartender about 20 feet in front of me with my check and card on the table. Had to walk over myself and give him the card.

TL:DR Food is terrible. Wait staff are probably alright most of the time, but were particularly terrible this time due to their own POS vendor being inconsistent. This place would probably be better off if they served restaurant quality food, and just used a normal check, or at least a...

We ordered lunch. As an appetizer we had calamari which was delivered barely cooked, soggy and tasteless. Was the frozen kind you buy at the supermarket. We sent it back to be cooked further. But it came back drenched in oil and tasteless so we just sent it back. We both ordered sandwiches and they came with fries which were also barely cooked and didn't have that nice deep golden color well made crispy fries should have. Either there is a new cook who has to learn how to fry or their frier isn't working properly. We have been here many times before and never had this problem so I give it four stars although it probably should be two or three. Very dissappointed!

Went back here last week for lunch and we had a very nice lunch. Food was excellent and I guess the last time we were there was just a bad day for them. So I will change my review back to 5 stars. I'm glad cause I like the place and the food is usually better than expected and the service is always attentive. I wish other restaurants...

Ordered a Greek omelette = didn’t get a Greek omelette then didn’t complain about it asked the kitchen if they could just add some real feta on top they put some other cheese….then the waitress was not nice but of course I’ll just sit there and be awkward cause it’s so embarrassing how people work in service and aren’t nice. Then a large group of 12 people came in they were so loud and obnoxious the kids were more behaved then the adults. One lady screamed across the room to talk to the other person on the other side of the table. Def was not a relaxing Sunday for sure. Then the couple who was there before us felt so uncomfortable they got up and moved their seats to accommodate the 12 people but then again it was 11AM they were plastered drunk too. I genuinely never think about how bad things are at some places but really let’s keep it toward the food. No seasonings I had to salt and pepper my omelette so that’s all I have to say!
