Great food, amazing customer service. All the employees show that they care about what they do for each guest. Love being able to build my own bowl to my liking and I was explained in detail about all the toppings, proteins, marinating sauces and more toppings, then house made daily finishing sauces.. my favorite is Togarashi their version of spicy Mayo! Then you get to add crispy toppings from Wontons, Nori, tempura, crispy onions and garlic, toasted coconut, wasabi peas, sesame seeds, chili flakes, hot chili oil and sea salt. Don't forget the Dole soft serve. The pineapple is as soft and creamy as a cloud and very refreshing. Tons of drinks to choose from. If you stay in to eat you get full table service. They bring your food to you and dont let you worry about any trash. They are very passionate about recycling which i love! For sure a must for me at least once or twice a week! Island Fin Poke is one of my favorite poke bowl places I’ve visited in CT so far! Not only was it super clean and the ingredients so fresh, but the service I received really stood out to me. For being a new place that hasn’t even been open a week, the staff was exceptional. Even though I’ve had poke bowls before, I really appreciated that one of their staff members took the time to guide me through the process of choosing my proteins, mix ins, toppings, and sauces, while even throwing in her personal recommendations. Because she took some extra time out of her day to make me not feel rushed, I ended up having one of the best poke bowls I’ve ever had because it was actually full of the ingredients I enjoy! I own a marketing agency, catering to small businesses, so when I experience an outstanding business, it truly resonates with me. I visited Greenwich Island Fin Poke for the first time today and from the moment I stepped into the restaurant to the moment I left, each touch point of the experience was outstanding. The owner and his colleague were friendly, welcomed us, explained things and gave us many options to prepare our bowls. The food looked appetizing and fresh, everything was clean, and as the process was moving along, the owner was chatting with us explaining the different foods and condiments. Even during the checkout, he was friendly and made us feel like we were the only guests that he was going to see today. He suggested we take the best table in the house and during the meal checked in on us and at the end mentioned that his colleague was going to clear the table.
