After having a Samsung Galaxy S10e screen replacement done. I got the phone home and noticed that the used screen I paid $196 dollars for had a deep scratch, I returned the phone to the store and they said they would put another screen in it for $75 more dollars. Needless to say they only put a screen protector on it to prevent the screen from further damage. If you want you high end phone repaired check with other reputable companies before making an almost $200 dollar investment. It’s bad enough that we paid almost $900 dollars for the device and now I get treated like I was in the wrong. Very unprofessional and demanding. I would not recommend this company to anybody that has a higher end device. Edit February 4th 2021 I was advised that the part I paid for would be of higher quality. The first time i was quoted approximately $25 less. then when i went in to drop off my phone, they quoted me a completely different price. You're not going to change my opinion on these people. The truth is the truth and unfortunately many cannot comprehend when someone tells them how they feel. Then they originally wrote a rebuttal claiming i brandished a concealed weapon. When i called then the quickly changed their rebuttal and put what you see. At no point was there ever a weapon involved. Moral or all this, you should have them explain to you that chances are you will be receiving a used part unless you pay a premium for a brand new part which will be bought from ebay. I'm not saying they didn't complete the repair, I'm simply saying that they were very...
Read moreThe local Verizon sent me to MonsterBuyBack & Repairs! All I needed was a battery change in my Galaxy S6, but the Verizon guys said they weren't allowed to even try. I called Monster from Verizon's parking lot at about 3:30 on Thursday afternoon and was given a choice of appointment times of either 5:00 that afternoon or something on Saturday. I chose 5:00. This place is great! I dropped the phone off, had dinner with my husband at Montezuma Mexican Restaurant a few doors away and picked the phone up afterward for $37.50. That was a great deal, because it wasn't a simple thing to switch out the battery like it used to be on former phones. This one is GLUED to it's case and the both the front and back are made of glass. It's a delicate process to get inside the phone to change the battery and although my husband was willing to try, we thought $37.50 was a better choice than possibly having to buy a whole new phone, which, by the way, I will never do again, because the guys at Monster sell used ones for about half!! On the way to Verizon, I was ready to do battle with corporate powers of persuasion to buy a new phone or add to my service (and bill!), or otherwise part with more of my money. I was pleasantly surprised that they sent me to Monster, instead. Monster is two guys - no corporate rules or compulsion - just two great guys who know stuff and are about making an honest living. Go...
Read moreGreat place to go if you want new phones without paying an arm and leg, as long as you don't mind older phones or refurbished ones. They also repair phones, but if it's the digitizer(screen) usually you can get a new one here cheaper. Staff are knowledgeable and I haven't met a rude one. We got 2 new phones, and repaired the digitizer on a third today 10/22/20 for less then 750.00, which it's really good compared to going to a phone company store(you do have to pay up front for them to send out for the phones). This was for 2 Samsung S8 pluses, and repairing the digitizer and back of a Samsung S8 Note. If I wanted the Samsung S10 Note it would of been about 500.00. They also gave us 30.00 back for two S7's, and an S8+ that were beat all to heck, and one didn't even turn on. They have a 45 day warrenty on their work and on phones you buy. This covers their work or the basic workings of the phone, not if you damage the phone. I've had a great experience with this company and this is the third time we have used them for repairs or new phones. It's a great alternative to going to the phone companies and paying a couple thousand or more on phones or having an added 30.00 to 40.00 added to your phone...
