Saga Sushi Buffet — Restaurant in Guilford Township

I was craving Chinese food and they have a pretty big selection so my friend and I took the drive down the Pennsylvania Turnpike as We are West of Breezewood, The food on the bar was Cold, refrigerator cold so I asked the waitress to just throw it the microwave to heat it up and I would be fine, she took my plate, sent a gentleman over whom said, is there problem, I said yes the food is cold! He then tells me it hot now, they bring out new! I waited two minutes, returned to the buffett for a second try and you guessed it, same cold food, I got a piece of the broiled fish they had and some peppered chicken along with some mushrooms, the fish being not even two inches wide but about five inches long, the fish was luke warm at best, the peppered chicken cold, and the mushrooms were the warmest and at this point I was starving and drove an hour and half so I ate my tiny piece of fish and two mushrooms! In all I already had $15 invested in just tolls, my bill and fortune cookie came for $11.53 which is what I consider cheap but not for what I had eaten and it wasn't like there was another option as it was all cold! The manager checked my friend and I out, I said about the food still being cold after he came to the table, he didn't even offer apologies and I'll Never eat there again! In the end I stopped at a Subway in Shippensburg, Pa and paid nine dollars for a footlong sub, with the money I already had wrapped up in this trip I would've paid double that! Lesson learned! There's a Hibachi place nearby called Aké pronounced Ah key I suggest going there, you won't be disappointed! The food is average buffet food. I would eat lunch there not quite once a week, maybe three times a month on average. Although the price is a bit much for someone who is just eating a light lunch, but the employees are pleasant enough and there is a nice selection.

My issue with them starts on a normal workday. I go in for lunch with a coworker as usual. Each had one plate of food and one drink, no refills. How surprised I was when I was treated to a small heart shaped box of chocolates with the check. It turns out to be valentines day, how thoughtful! Wow, this place really has some class, the small details make all the difference.

I grab the check and while walking to the register I notice the bill is over $33.00. I think they just hit dinner instead of lunch buffet. The cashier proceeds to explain it was correct for valentines day all day dinner special. I explained we were on lunch break and didn't want to eat all day. "Can I come back later?' I asked. "No, must stay here." she states. "We ate one plate of food each," I say. "Doesn't matter," she says. I said, "Are you sure?" she said, "It's posted on the front door, it's advertised." I said, "Ok" while handing my charge card to her, "If this is the way you want to do business?" My opinion of this place could not have changed more dramatically in such a short time span.

In summation, I will not be back. Monetarily, for an extra $10 this establishment has lost a minimum of $800 in sales just for the rest of this year alone. Not to mention thousands of dollars for the...

Let's start with the outside there is a trash everywhere in the front, side and back, try driving around the building you'll see even more trash it's like they don't even throw it in the dumpster. I saw a Gatorade bottle full of yellow liquid assuming it's piss??? That just one of the hundreds/thousands of pieces of trash everywhere.

Let's go in to their stale no good food that is set out for 6 to 8 hours and every time someone's they're coughing and hacking phelm right by the buffet. It seems like they got a new cook in most of the food is not even edible now it doesn't even look right nor taste the same. It's worse.

The bathrooms are extremely unhygienic, the toilets every single time I go there are covered in someone's diarrhea explosion, assuming it must be the employees because every single time???? Or it's just from the food poisoning that everybody gets from going there. I'm not kidding I lost my appetite I just went yesterday and diarrhea was sprayed all over the floor, the walls, the toilet and on the stall door. The other stall had blood all over the seat and the last one is broken and doesn't even flush.

All of their teapots are broken and leak all over the table and everywhere. They've been like this since they've opened.

Some of the toilets aren't even attached to the floor so the whole toilet almost fell over when you sit on it.

Can we just petition them to fix the goddamn place or leave. So we can get a better buffet. 😭
