I am so disappointed with this place. DO NOT GO! Save your money and the respect you have for yourself and not lower your l self down to the low standards that this hotel has turned into! Management is never there so say! Housekeeping needs to be taught how to change sheets. The beds were full of sand. Next A/C has been leaking and maintenance does not know how to fix it so you are given towels to put on the floor to absorb the water not to mention luggage was on the ground and while you are at the beach and your clothes is getting wet from AC the hotel had no customer service to offer to pay the 4.00 to wash 4.00 to dry the clothes instead just laughed and put towels down. Playing your radio is not allowed but them having a DJ in the morning on the first floor where people are sleeping are not a problem! But if you are playing your music at 2pm when it is raining it is a problem! So be aware! Last the front desk people need prayer’s especially Patricia. She is rude messy and don’t know how to handle customers especially special needs humans! In the reservation the hotel is clearly aware of our group having a special needs adult and never had consideration for that! Please be aware she is evil and needs prayers. Being ugly to special needs people you have along way to go and to work in a place where people go for vacation that is not a vacation it is more like hell! It it all comes down to the medicine the doctor now a DOCTOR gives to calm him down so times the smell of his medicine is strong so when the bottle was opened and housekeeping came to the door some assuming went on manager Brandon was involved and from there it the rest of the stay we never talked or had interaction with hotel. When we went to check out that is when the professional front desk clerks got ugly rude and Patricia thought she was somebody but only thing she was doing was harassing and doing what she did best and that was be disrespectful to the special needs! I will pray for her and management as well as maintenance! Do not go not to mention they have ROACHES...
Read moreThe toilet in my room @ The Surf & Sand Hotel on Amelia Island did not work. I tried to call the front desk but my phone did not work either. I notified the front desk & his response was I will get YOU a plunger. That did not work so I asked the gal @ the front if she was aware of the issue. She said No, but there is a notation that you had been given a plunger. I said it needed to be snaked. She came up to try to plunge it herself. When that failed she called maintenance. 3 people came up to snake it. When they succeeded the gal was left to clean up the mess. There was shit everywhere. The room stunk. Then the lights adjacent to the bed didn’t work. Then the internet failed. I was told it needed to be rebooted & would take a few hours. The next morning I washed my hair & there was no hair dryer ( as advertised). I sent a letter to the mgr. Juan Bosco Robles stating the issues but never received a response. This place leaves a lot to be desired. I would NOT return or...
Read moreThey should fire of the staff at the Embassy Suites Sarasota and start from scratch. A three night stay this past weekend was a disaster from the moment I made reservations in the spring. The staff there is incapable of making decisions. The General Manager, John Tanner is incompetent and incapable of overseeing a staff greater than one person. He is clueless and will threaten you and lie to your face. Myself and over 50% of the guests this weekend couldn't believe the problems we encountered multiple times a day and the multiple excuses we received. I'm not sure Innisfree Hotels just doesn't care or what their problem is. The hotel had been open two weeks and it was their first weekend fully booked, and there was nobody onsite that was remotely capable of doing anything except apologize and give excuses. I was in line with a guest staying there from Hilton Corporate offices, and they could not believe how poorly run the hotel is. Pretty sad...
