Erica and Jill worked very hard! I literally came in after purchasing a ProAdapt Tempurpedic firm bed and although I did my research before, I did not realize the importance of telling either sales associates that I was a hot sleeper but that I had a bad back. I assumed the cool to the touch Tempurpedic ProAdapt would take care of that and so did they but everyone is different! So of course I liked the Matress I picked based on the fact that I am a back sleeper only with neck and back problems. When I came in after getting my new Matress which I found out foam makes you hotter than other types of mattresses that is why Tempurpedic makes the cool to the touch Matress cover that zips around their Matress. The LuxBreeze which I would highly suggest to those that sleep hot or sweat at night!! It’s worth the extra money ! You also need to buy an amazing Matress protector made by PureCare that Matress Firm sales that we all need to buy with any new Matress even the Tempurpedic ones that already come with the zippered covers. This Matress protector which is different than a Matress pad is Clinically Proven and it saves the longevity of your Matress and you through being Hypoallergenic, Moisture Wicking, Breathable, and cooling. It’s great to prevent allergy’s and Liquid spills from going through to your Matress which causes bacteria, mildew, and mold due to the Antimicrobial Silver and Chloride that also prevents deterioration and odors and stains and dust mites as well as it tunnels away the heat from your body with special fibers that have been Oeko-Tex tested meaning it’s been chemically tested for any bad chemicals. You must wash this Matress protector in HOT water only and with a HOT dryer. Also the right type of sheets are important for certain types of sleepers such as silk, tencel cotton, Bamboo rayon, thin cotton. People think the more thread count you get the better that’s not the case you need the sheets to breath with the correct fabric and thread count and compare threading vs. silk weave etc. instead. Please research before you buy with what type of sleeper you are and tell the sales associates everything even medical issues. The base that you can purchase with the Matress is helpful with Sleep Apnea and or people that snore or other medical issues even back and neck . There are also different bases instead of regular box springs to choose from. These two women worked very hard at helping me while being extremely busy! Please, out of respect not only for your self but for them to please research your needs first then come in and try all the options out and know the answers to your questions before you ask them too because not everyone has the same issues so not everyone is educated on every issue in how to help it. I suggest going online to the National Sleep Foundation.org who does approve these types of mattresses and Matress protector. They will educate you on which is best for each issue even sheets, pillows, etc. and they educate you on subjects we do all the time but do not know the pros and cons such as sleeping with pets in great detail. This is advice is coming from someone who knows the importance of needing a new Matress and all other important accessories that we need to go along with it. It’s all about our health and getting a good nights sleep that fits our own individual body type even medical issues! Please do your research don’t rely on anyone else even a professional sales associate to help you know everything bc it’s not their job to know you only their products. Don’t spend money without getting exactly what you need! It’s up to us to know! It’s up to them to help accommodate with only the products they have and know about. If you know what type of Matress you need, sheets, pillows, Matress protectors, etc these two women at Matress Firm where I went in Gulf Breeze Florida will bend over backwards to help you no matter how busy they are so please go in self educated for yourself and for them! We purchased a Stearns and Foster King size Lux Estate mattress and boxing in April 2024. One year later, it sags. Called the store and was advised I had to go online and submit a warranty claim. During this process, you have to provide an unreal amount of info including a photo of your mattress law tag, download my receipt that they had no record of, download a paper tool to measure the sag and take photos of the tool in the sag, take photos of the frame your bed sits on, and provide how many slats, support beams are on the frame. So, yes, you have to move your huge bed off the frame to take the photo. After spending a lot of money on a top brand, shouldn’t their warranty service include some expert coming out to do this? They state they have no one in our zip code. Suspect they probably don’t have anyone for any zip code. This is the first warranty claim we have ever made on a mattress and doubt we will make it through this process. We have purchased 6-7 beds from Mattress Firm in the past. However, after this experience, we will never buy another Stearns and Foster bed nor will we buy anything from Mattress Firm again. Had a great experience purchasing a King Size Tempur-Pedic Lux Breeze Soft mattress. My sales agent Thomas was helpful with narrowing in what we wanted.

No fault of Mattress Firm, after sleeping on the new mattress for 60 days, we determined there to be a defect. We went back to the store to double check and yes, the store model was significantly softer than ours.

Since Thomas was out, I spoke to Erica on the phone, and she was a pleasure to speak with. When Thomas got back into work, he called me and insisted there was no defect but after a couple minutes of discussing he obliged and replaced the mattress with the same one but different batch. There was a little more resistance than I wanted but I'm glad they decided to make it right.

Even during the break in period, our new mattress is night and day different between the old one. We are still in the break in period but I'm sleeping better than I have in months. I'm convinced we just got a firm mattress with a soft badge on it so I am very glad we decided to get a replacement.

Mattress Firm also price matched a discount Tempur-Pedic offered so we saved almost $600 off our original sale price.
