Ollie's Bargain Outlet — Local services in Gulfport

Ollie's Bargain Outlet is one of my favorite places or stores to browse in. You never know what you will find, but I know I will always find some good books to read there at a great discounted price. That is a huge win for me!

This Ollie's location was not as large as others I have been to in Baton Rouge, LA and Myrtle Beach, SC. However, the store was very neat and clean. I enjoyed my shopping trip and enjoyed browsing the book section, although I was mainly looking for children's books to add to Christmas presents for my grandchildren.

I also picked up a few snacks for us to have around the house and on our road trips visiting the daughter's and their families for Christmas.

Ollie's also has a wide varitey of items for the home, personal needs, food, linens and kitchen ware and baking supplies. They also have garden suipplies and flooring supplies! The best part of this is the prices are all discounted.

Ollie's also has a club that you can join and get 15% off your entire purchase once a quarter. This is a nice little bonus...

This, my second experience, was dissappointing. Drawn by an ad, I came for a specific item, the 2-qt. Mr. Coffee Tea Maker for $9.99 (great price). The ad had a picture and an accurate description of that item, so I packed my wheelchair and headed over to the Gulfport, MS store. It was clean store with no crowd, but I found that the item was, in fact, not what was listed, but instead was the single serving tumbler version. Employees confirmed, saying it must just be a misprint. Very dissappointed. In my first experience (different town), the store was crowded, but the atmosphere was exciting. The place was packed floor to ceiling, though I sadly found very little that drew my interest. Probably unlikely to try...

Since our big lots is gone, and no dirt cheap, i needed another place to.buy cheap items. I loke that I can go in and browse while doing other errands and buy stuff my kids may like. Im a year round Christmas and birthday shopper. What I really like are the books, Bibles and comics! We go weekly to browse the books. They also have some decent board games and kids toys come through. I havent bought many other products there so I'm not sure of all the merchandise. They do have a good selection of home goods. Kitchen cookware, utensils, dishes. They also have linens and curtains. Cheaper than regular box stores! Selection may be limited but if you can check in from time to time,...
