The two stars are for the fair prices and helpful employees up to the rude lady that I had to deal with at the end. Manager maybe? Wannabe manager? I donât know. I was helping my ill father purchase some alcohol for a big party, and I left my wallet in the car, my dad was paying anyway.
The cashier guy was nice, even joking with my five year old stepbrother about needing his ID. The rude lady swooped in when the cashier was ringing up the alcohol and said to my dad, âI need to see your ID.â She then said, âI need to see your ID too.â So I said âok no problem I will go get it from the car.â
It was really not a big deal, Iâm not lazy by any means. I was about to carry $1200 worth of liquor by myself for goodness sake since my dad could not. Anyhow, she proceeded with a sharp attitude, completely unnecessarily, annoyed, as if I was not already walking towards the door, âyeah I am gonna need to see it, you DO have to go to the car to get it.â The tone was like, âyeah what an inconvenience for you but I donât care.â I donât even know why the attitude came out especially when we were about to drop some big bucks and I was already heading out to get it because I 100% understand the law.
If sheâs reading this, the correct way to address me would have been: âIâm sorry you have to run out to your car, I actually do need to see your ID, itâs the law,â and left it at that. I thought midwestern people were...

Read moreBoyfriend and I were just looking around the store trying to figure things out (being newly 21 and all) and we ended up wandering in the wine section where Joe warmly greeted us and asked how he can help us. He gave us some advice with wine and gave us tons of options, and wasnât trying to push expensive brands on us. He also answered my boyfriendâs questions on Sangrias and gave us tons of recommendations too. He was witty, sweet, funny, and very knowledgeable and helpful! We decided to try Four Graces (recommended by Joe and even has a sign in the store that itâs a clerkâs pick) and we love it! Very good to know thereâs staff that truly will be happy to teach you anything youâd like to know, and that can relate to not breaking the bank, but still give you good options!...
