Noodles and Company — Restaurant in Gurnee

I don't like to write negative reviews but I am really disappointed with this Noodles and Company location. A few months ago we were left disappointed becsuse we wanted Noodles but they were out of chicken, which was something both my husband and I wanted in our meals. "How can they run out of chicken?" I thought. I let it go then. Figured it was just bad luck for them to run out of inventory.

Today, we ordered online for pick up. Along with three meals, I also ordered a rice crispy treat. My husband went to pick it up and upon arriving home we noticed the desert was missing. I always try to make it a point to double check our orders anywhere when they're to go because this happens way too often! But there was a disconnect this time since I ordered and my husband picked up and he didn't even know I had ordered the treat.

We looked at the receipt and see there were check marks and initials that makes us believe it's their double checking routine that the order is correct and complete. Yet ours still had something missing..

We have tried calling them three times today to let them know what happened and to see if they can rectify their mistake. They have not answered and there is no mailbox to leave a message.

Update: a day later someone from this location called us to personally apologize for the inconvenience and for the way eveything happened. She was very kind and offered to send us some vouchers for our next meal with them. We...

I like their snickerdoodle cookies! One of the yummiest cookies I’ve ever eaten in my life. Aside from that the place is pretty ridiculous. On more than one occasion I have waited 45 minutes past the promised pick up time for an order that was placed through a delivery app. And for the life of me I cannot figure out why it could possibly take so long to make a bowl of buttered noodles. I have visited there dozens and dozens of times in the last two years, and have only found the food ready when I walked in maybe twice. I know if I am picking up an order from there I need to expect to wait at least 15 or 20 minutes. From what I’ve heard from other delivery people in other parts of the country, this problem seems to be location specific. So I don’t know if it’s a management problem or a personal problem but somethings not quite working right there. It’s extremely popular, the food is pretty good. But if you want to visit or order online, expect to wait a really long time. And if you’re ordering for delivery don’t forget that your driver is not being paid to wait, make sure to thank them for investing extra time...

My wife, my son, and I all decided to go to noodles and company as it has been my wife's pregnancy craving. Imagine, if you're not pregnant, just wanting ONE thing more than anything else in the world...something that satiates and satisfy your deepest food desires...well, that, today was Wisconsin Mac & Cheese. She was absolutely elated when we pulled up. Pregnancy dancing in the parking lot; Cheer and joy on hee face as we ordered and began what the longest wait time for a bowl of Mac & Cheese in existence. 57 minutes. Fifty-Seven minutes of wait time with my pregnant wife and bored 5 year old. Can you imagine the suffering this place has put her through...the sadness?! Unreal. We will not come back. The employees seem to be lost and untrained. There was no greetings or even receipts handed out. The tabletops were not clean and the trash was overflowing. The bathroom was equitable to a portajohn at a festival on a hot summer day. There needs to be some serious retraining to make sure the pain and suffering caused today will not be...
