I got a gel manicure and gel pedicure. The pedicure was rushed. I noticed the lady started and ended before the neighboring lady was midway through her service. I got a simple neon yellow for my toes. When it came to my nails I showed the design I wanted for my nails to the tech. She had the picture and the 2 colors (yellow and green) sitting there next to her. I noticed she painted my nails all green. When I saw her about to apply the top coat, I stopped her and stated that’s not what I asked you to do. She stated my nails are too short for a design. I said, but that is not what I asked you to do. I don’t want my nails in green and my toes in yellow. They don’t even match. Since my nails are too short (for a simple design), can I have my nails all in yellow to match my toes. She said to ask the manager in the front. He okayed the color change. Asked me what I wanted I showed him the picture. He kept asking me the same question about what I wanted to the point where I was beginning to feel like he was playing confused. I looked at him straight in the face trying to keep my composure and not create a scene in the mail salon for the other customers who probably came to enjoy the ā€œme time,ā€ and said to change the color please. He asked the tech to change the color and she refused. Stated it was not her fault. He insisted she did it, and she said she will not. Packed up her stuff, tantrum to the break room and proceeded to leave. All because she was asked to change the color of my nails. The nails I am paying for. I said to the manger, it is really not that serious. If it makes life easier we can change 2 of the nails on each hand to the design shown. He had his assistant manager do the color removal. He ask the nail tech to talk outside. She came back in and proceeded to work on another customer. When the color was removed, the manager and tried to complete flame design on my nails. The nail polish was very thin and the green faint across the yellow. I suggested using black instead. He was patient and tried to match the design. I stated it didn’t have to be exact, just a little design so I don’t have plain nails. He made a cute little design to the best of his ability and the service was over. I paid $129 with a 15% tip for a gel pedicure and gel manicure with 4 nails having a black zig zag. Even the manager stated it really was that simple when my service was done. The tech made a mountain out of nothing. She completely disregarded what I asked her to do. Did not even attempt a design, got annoyed and threw a tantrum in the whole salon because she was asked to do something by her boss. For some reason I felt she was use to throwing tantrums when she did not have her way, or she simply did not want to work on my nails from the start. I guess she got the right customer that day because catch somebody else on a bad day, it would have been two people making a scene. SMH! How unprofessional! I hope the manager had a follow-up conversation with her about her behavior. It didn’t look very professional and I could have made other assumptions as to why she did not want to service me, because it sure felt odd! Six days later and it still has not settled well with my spirit.

This was my first time at Nail Art Spa. I have been going to my regular nail salon for two years, but they are closed on Sundays. Since I couldn't wait until next week, I decided to try Nail Art Spa. I had a gel manicure with chrome powder and a regular pedicure. The gel manicure is advertised at $40 with an additional $15 for chrome powder, while the regular pedicure is $30. However, when it came time to pay, I was charged an extra $5, with the explanation that it was for a "strengthener" they used. Strangely, I didn't notice any significant difference in the products used compared to my regular salon, which charges a flat $40 for a gel manicure, including the "strengthener." Furthermore, I paid with a credit card, and my total bill came out to be $93.59. This was $3.59 more than I expected. my regular nail salon or many others that i tried before do not charge credit card fee. To make matters worse, after all these extra charges, I noticed that my little finger had a different chrome powder color, as you can see in the photo. It was only after I got home that I realized this. During the application of the chrome powder, it seemed like they were running low on product, and they ended up using a different, similar shade to complete my little finger. This was disappointing, as I expected all my nails to be the same color when I paid the extra $15. In addition, they began removing my gel manicure while I was getting my pedicure done. The powder was all over my clothes, and I had to breathe in the old nail polish powder, which I didn't appreciate. On a positive note, the pedicure itself was great, so I will give the salon three stars. Tip: I tipped $5 for pedicure, it was totally worth it. $10 for manicure which i regret after realizing the color difference.

I was going to Jamaica for a bachelorette party and needed my cuticles cleaned. I am huge fan of press-on but decided on gel manicure for the event. I got a gel manicure and pedicure. Pedicure was $58 - very high price point for a regular gel pedicure. No spa treatment e.g wax on the heel. I was annoyed because I had to instruct the person to clean big toe since I am prone to having hang nails. Moreover, she didn't push my cuticle back either. Gel Manicure price was $40- which was done dry. She didn't soak my cuticles in warm water. I haven't had a manicure since January. Even though when I put my press on I will used the cuticle cutter but I can't do it as well as a salon. Well thats what I thought. No hand exfoliating or massage.Second day in Jamaica my nails had this brown color on the side. Total charge was $103 without tip for gel manicure and pedicure. I don't have an issue paying for service but if your going to charge your clients top dollars, at least give your clients exceptional service. How could you charge $40 for gel manicure and not soak the cuticles or give hand exfoliate and massage? The polish work was not done well because the polish was so far away from my cuticles.

My dissatisfaction with the overall experience primarily stems from the service provided. While undergoing my gel pedicure, a staff member unexpectedly approached to remove the gel polish from my fingers. Instead of soaking, she proceeded to file them down, leaving me puzzled as to why this was necessary during my pedicure. Moreover, the process resulted in the unfortunate outcome of polish dust settling on my shoes, tarnishing them. To exacerbate matters, the staff incorrectly identified my nail type as acrylic, suggesting an additional fee for removal or a $60 charge for a refill. Upon clarifying that my nails were, in fact, genuine and only adorned with gel polish, I was met with a dismissive response, accompanied by conversations in a language I couldn't comprehend, which felt discourteous.

Furthermore, the pricing structure left me perplexed, as the $58 charge for the pedicure seemed disproportionately high for the level of service received. A notable disappointment was the dry execution of my manicure, devoid of the customary hand washing or water immersion, further contributing to my sense of dissatisfaction. In essence, the overall experience did not align with the premium service I anticipated, given the elevated pricing. Regrettably, I find the services to be overpriced for the mediocre quality delivered, leading to my decision not to return...
