I NEVER take the time to write reviews because who cares?! Right!? Well the experience I had here was ABSURD and warranted a review! I go very early and shower/get dressed there after, before I head to work. For the past few weeks, the showers and changing stalls have been DISGUSTING. After noticing that trash wasn't being removed for WEEKS at a time, I said something to the front desk employee. She said she would mention something... then again a few weeks later, still gross.... asked front desk person again... she tells me that the evening people are supposed to be cleaning it and they must not be and to call the manager.... I didn't have time to call so I let it go. A few days ago I was so disgusted by the MILDEW stained floors and the globs of hair in the shower stalls AND the SAME trash that still remained in the trash bag...so I asked up front and she again told me to call the manager, but that she was out so to wait a few days... Today, when I not only saw that the trash can STILL had the SAME TRASH in it from 3 WEEKS ago ANDDDDDD a bloody pad just chilling there I lost it. I then took the trash can to the front desk and simply set it on the counter and said 'its been 3 weeks, this is disgusting' and walked out. I figured maybe THEN they would see that something needed to be done. I finally made the time to call the NASTY manager a few hours later. She told me I was INTIMIDATING the staff because I THREW the trash can in the face of an employee (::insert crying laughing emoji several times here::) I laughed and stated that I simply placed it on the counter for someone to address it.... she then said " Why would we waste a trash bag if its not full?" (SERIOUSLY??????? Just because a bag isn't FULL doesn't mean it doesn't need to be changed occasionally, ESPECIALLY in a WOMANS LOCKER ROOM!) I told her my feelings on that and her response was 'well if you are really unhappy here, you know you CAN go somewhere else!" To which I told her 'should I also tell that to the several dozen other folks who are signing a petition to have the board of health come in and inspect that location?' and her response was 'yes if they don't like it they can leave too!"
COOOOOOLLL!!! Its pretty interesting to have a MANAGER tell you to GO ELSEWHERE when you are simply drawing attention to a health issue. GOOD TO KNOW!

Ā Ā Ā Read moreOf all the gyms in Europe and the US I frequent, the front desk staff Christian and Emma are rudest I have ever encountered. I have been a member for 4 years, never missed a payment. Yet, when Emma one day 2 weeks ago discovered I "only" have one form of payment attached to my account (which by the way is all any other gym ANYWHERE requires), she immediately got extremely rude. She wouldn't even listen when I tried telling her that I never bring my purse after having had my car broken into at this location. She sicked Christian on me. The following time I came in, it was pouring rain out, and I forgot my CC in my car. Christian started SCREAMING at me, and I asked him to please come talk to me when he could speak to me like a person without yelling, and i walked away in an effort to diffuse the situation. He called the police! Even the officer couldn't believe why she was there!! I showed her on my phone my payments that I was not behind. How horrible to call the police when there might be someone with a real emergency who needed help!! To top it off, Christian did not want to give the officer his or Emma's names!! Then, he canceled my membership. I called corporate who informed me it is not a requirement, but a recommendation, to have two forms of payment. Later when I called the manager, she refused to tell me when the owner would be there. I then asked her to give the owner my name and number to have him call me, only to have her tell me the owner is too busy to contact me even if she did give it to him!! I guess she was correct since now, two weeks later, I have still not...

Probably the best PF Iāve ever been too and I am familiar with several quality gyms, as I am currently a member of Lifetime Fitness and LA Fitness. However, I chose to not renew my membership after your location decided not to return to a 24/7 schedule, which has drawn numerous complaints. I would expect management to prioritize this issue. Many responses suggest repeatedly calling the manager, but why doesnāt the manager engage with these requests here, or better yet, why doesnāt the owner?
Additionally, Iāve noticed a significant number of complaints regarding Asst. Manager Sofia. Iāve heard from various associates that she is often rude and unprofessional and not attentive. A quick review of the comments reveals her name mentioned multiple times. Itās hard to believe that so many people would be wrong. Management needs to address this situation and consider taking action against her enployment. Asking customers to send emails about their concerns is not sufficient.
I sincerely hope this issue is being addressed, as several individuals have reported negative experiences with her on numerous occasions. Itās disheartening, especially since my prior experience as a member was much more positive. I have no intention of renewing my membership under circumstances that involve a rude manager and assistant manager, particularly when the gym is not operating 24/7. Isnāt that part of the appeal of Planet Fitness? Letās work towards...
