Que Ricas is a fantastic addition to Haddon Township!!! I have ordered takeout from them several times and have been very pleased with the quality of the food and service. The employees are extremely friendly and attentive, my order has been correct every time. Every dish I have tried has been unique and incredibly flavorful, and it is clear that all of their products are homemade and extremely fresh. So far, I have fried the tajadas (fried plantains), tequenos (fried mozarella), a rica arepa, the jawn empanada, the besitos empanada, and a shredded beef platter. My favorite item so far as been the besitos empanada, filled with guava and mozzarella cheese. I was initially unsure of this combination, but the flavors are incredible!!! I highly recommend that you visit Que Ricas, you will not be disappointed!

Have been here a dozen times. Great food. Authentic Venezuelan. Owner talked to me about how he gets his flour delivered from Venezuela. The passion is in the food. The sandwiches are delicious and the quintessential Venezuelan sandwich with avocado and chicken is like a chicken salad sandwich with avocado but so much better. The passion is evident and their service is great. No wonder their business is going strong despite the pandemic. Wonderful to have Venezuelan food in Haddon township. Don’t miss this opportunity to experience great ethnic food in south Jersey. Pictured are the empanadas and Flower Power platter with shredded beef.

Yes! Food is always so flavorful, never overly spicey. Can't go wrong with Que Ricas! We ordered for a family dinner, Carne empanadas, pollo empanadas, harvest empanadas (sweet potato, beans & kale), sides of beans, Fried yuca/casava, plain rice and rica rice. Would have taken more pictures, but the food got devoured. Everyone enjoyed it, even the kids! There is a dipping sauce that comes with empanadas- It smells like tomatillo and adds flavor. Personally we love the sauce that comes with the yuca, it is a garlic packed creamy sauce- get extra! They do larger orders for events too. Staff is always kind and helpful.

Me and my husband heard that a new Venezuelan restaurant was opening up in Haddon Township NJ. We took a trip but when we got there the restaurant was not yet open. However, we opened the door and were warmly greeted by the owner and her father. They are still in the process of getting the space fully operational. While chatting, the smell of the food that was being cooked was so enticing, that I asked, or begged according to my husband, if we could purchase some. The owner said yes and prepared us a great to go bag. While waiting, she also let us sample some "carne esmechada" shredded beef. It was absolutely delicious and took me back to Caracas. My husband, who had tried the dish several times said this was the best he has tasted. We took our to bag, and left. Again, I cannot stress enough how friendly the owner and her father were. We could not even make the drive home. The chicken empanadas were delicious. They were crispy but light. (FYI - the dough is gluten-free). We then tried the "Tequenos". For Americans, these are similar to mozzarella sticks but just not greasy. Once again my husband said they were the best ones he has had. They also gave us "Yuca Fries" which are frech fries made out of yuca. Another Winner! All in all, the food was "Ricas" Delicious. I cannot wait till they open as we will be regular customers. We wish them success and strongly urge others to try this restaurant. You will not be...

We started frequenting Que Ricas because of the delicious gluten-free empanadas and it has become a go to place for us. This review is for something different though. We stopped by today completely unaware that they were closed for Father’s Day. The door was open so we walked in to find a man (the owner?) doing some paperwork. He told me they were closed, but recommended a place down the street. I explained that we had stopped in because they have the GF empanadas and I have to eat gluten-free. He then offered to get the fryers going to make some for me and after some back and forth to make sure it was no trouble, I agreed. I asked for 3 and got 4 (because it was Father’s Day), so on a day they were closed he gave me a buy 3 get one free deal which I found so generous. Thank you so much! We will definitely continue to be...
