I went there because my husbands coworker recommended Spichers. He recommended that we speak with John. I went there and ask for John but John was not there that day so Jim approached me and ask if he could help! I said yes sure. I left from there with some information and told him I would look around and compare prices. Last Saturday my husband and I went back and decided we would purchase some appliances. We were in the process of filling out the paperwork and I ask Jim if we could get a discount since we were purchasing 3 major appliances?? He’s response was “we are not Kmart”!! He then good very rude. He then went on to tell me that they charge 15$ for each appliance that is hauled away. I ask him after he said that if they could wavier that 15$ per appliance fee he very rudely said NO. I said to him ok then I will walk away. He then rudely got up with my papers and walked away from me mumbling. I looked at him and told him you are very rude and I wanted my papers back and would go somewhere else. He tried to not give me my papers back but I grabbed them out of his hand and took them. They had my information on them and he had know right to try and keep them. We did go back and spoke with John another salesman which was an awesome salesman. The moral of the story is. If you go to Spichers do not deal with JIM. Then yesterday 2 of my appliances were delivered and he called me and said I had to pay for the 2 removals which I already paid that to John. We had heard great things about Spichers but we got to experience their great reputation first-hand this week! We found ourselves unexpectedly in need of a refrigerator (our LG broke after only 6 years and the repair was so expensive that purchasing a new refrigerator made more sense). Due to a flat tire on the way to Spichers we arrived 20 minutes before closing time. Our salesperson, John Steinla, could not have been more gracious. He patiently guided us through what was available given our "wish list" and was totally transparent with stock situations and lead times (2021 is not a great time to need a major appliance). We walked the Spichers floor more than once while John helped us weigh our options. We left that evening with three models we were considering and all of the paperwork we needed to make a fully informed decision. The next day we decided to move ahead with purchasing a floor model (so refreshing to find companies who are willing to sell their floor models) and the 5 year warranty. The make things even better Spichers was able to deliver and install the refrigerator 2 days later. The installers were friendly, professional, and competent and reassured us that if we should experience any issues Spichers would immediately send somebody out. Clothes dryer quit heating up for my wife while I was stuck at work for 48 hours. Once I got home I found that everything else was working fine other than that. She had already ordered another one by the time I got home which would have been about $600 if not more meaning I pretty much worked the last 2 days to pay for a dryer. However I asked her if I fixed it would that work and she said that would be fine. We called Spichers Appliances to see if they had a heating element for our particular dryer which they did and said they would have it waiting on the counter for us when we got there and would also test our current one. I took ours out which only took a few minutes. When we arrived at the store and went to the parts counter we were greeted by a friendly lady behind a desk asking if she could help us and once we told her she went to get someone to help us. Another employee an older gentleman then came out of the office and took the time to show us what was wrong with our element and then put the fuse from ours which was still good on the new one. I then informed him I needed a new dryer vent hose and he asked how long. I let him know it was just a short piece and he gave me piece off of his van free of charge.
