Atkinsons Market — Local services in Hailey

My review is on the floral department. Customer service over the phone was difficult with the women who sounded like she had a Russian accent. When I asked what the total would be the answer I received was "I don't know, you have to take the total add 6 percent then add ten" . I have to admit I did find some humor in this. The gentlemen that delivered the flowers I'm told was very pleasant and polite and did in fact deliver what my Mom called "some of the most beautiful flowers she has ever received" . So overall the job was done but I'd suggest that the phone etiquette...

Atkinson's Market is a great option if you are looking for a mix of traditional and organic groceries. This store has a variety of food allergy friendly items... and lots of gluten, dairy, and soy free alternates. The price of the store is the reason why I rated it as four stars. If you are looking to save $$ on your shopping trip, look at the sales or head across town...

If not for inflated prices, which force me to use the corporate store, I would prefer to patronize Atkinsons. I have no problem being elderly and poor,but feel disenfranchised at The Market. I'm certain the store would have increased volume if seniors(and there are many)were offered a discount...kind of a reward for surviving this far on the road...
