Black Owl Coffee — Restaurant in Hailey

I just called and spoke to a man and wanted to ask about some coffee and food I could get for a meeting, to be clear I was not wanting to have the meeting at their location. I wanted breakfast and coffee to pick up and take to a meeting. The owner said "this is a coffee shop and I have a line out the door but what do you want." Are you kidding me first of all that was completely unprofessional to insult a customer and not give a warm welcome, I had a few questions but he didnt want to hear them. Then to insinuate he is busy he didnt have time. He was so unconcerned with providing CUSTOMER SERVICE to a potential new client because he has a line out the door. I will make sure to tell anyone I encounter about this and I will never recommend them for the two successful business...

I had the most lovely visit at Black Owl! I’m a flight attendant, and just decided to go on a stroll before heading to work today. I happened to find this treasure, and will definitely be back! I tried the Night Owl coffee and the egg scramble with the pesto- pesto on eggs, genius! So delish! I made friends with the owners little boy, who told me the story behind the name ‘Black Owl’ and also highly recommend the brown butter chocolate chip cookie…… best cookie ever! I was planning on saving the rest of the cookie for later… but must confess I ate the rest within 20 min later.. because it was just THAT GOOD!!!! Thank you team, for a delicious breakfast, and for such a warm experience.....

I’ve now been to every coffee shop from Bellevue thru Ketchum and this was the last “stop” on my list. They earned a regular for as long as my contract is here at the hospital. The staff was incredibly welcoming and the lady taking orders make great recommendations. Per recommendation, I got the bacon panini pressed breakfast burrito with house made jalapeño sour cream (AMAZING, and I’m not a sour cream fan) and salsa for the sides. I got a Coconut Caramel Revival for the coffee. Both items were tremendous and I can’t wait to come back and try the Dark Chocolate Cherry Mocha and get another burrito.
