This little bookshop is a true gem. Anyone behind the desk can give pinpointed recommendations or find the book you're looking for with even vague descriptors. They really know (and love) books. The inventory here is impressive-- everything from the hottest new book to secondhand favorites. Their kids/YA section runs wide and deep through series and special selections. A few gifty items and cards, too, if you're looking for a unique present. You'll never leave without something new to expand your horizons. Iconoclast truly is one of the best spots to visit in the valley....

Was a bit frustrated when I called and the answering machine gave hours of operation but then they were closed. It was November 12, so it was the day Veteran’s day was being observed, but not every place closes on that day. Not a big deal, except I had three little preschoolers with me who wanted to go on an impromptu field trip to see how a bookshop is run (they had been playing bookshop in their dramatic play center)....

This store looked so cute from what we could tell looking through the window. We attempted to go three different times during the supposed business hours according to Google, but alas the door was locked each time. No hours were posted at the business, so unsure if Google was wrong or?? Ended up driving into Ketchum to get our bookshop fix at Chapter One. Disappointed to have missed out on this spot, but no one can say...
