Café Della — Restaurant in Hailey

I will be dreaming of this place for years to come and may even return to Hailey ID just for this gem. The atmosphere is gorgeous, the location is stellar, the food is an explosion of flavor and was so refreshing! I feel amazing after eating here and full! I got the caprese sandwich 🥵 Let me just say that I could have cried. The flavors were out of this world, the fresh bread! The people here are so incredibly sweet and helpful! The inside is adorable down to the plates and silverware. The to-go cooler is fantastic! We bought their marinara for a later meal around the campfire (we are going to roast some meatballs.)

The only recommendation I could make would be adding a lox bagel or lox sandwich to the menu with capres and fresh salmon. I think the bread they used for the caprese sandwich would be perfect. Housemade cream cheese! I think I would gave actually cried. I mentioned it to them, so maybe they'll think about it. If not, there are plenty of amazing dishes to choose from. Another small recommendation would be stickers, but the wonderful people working here gave me a to go sticker that had their name on it, super cute!

The buckwheat chocolate chip cookies are the best I’ve ever had anywhere. The sourdough sandwiches were amazing, they had raw milk!!, and also had a fun selection of salt, chocolate, olive oil etc. There are also to go items. It looked like they used high quality flour from the flours they had for sale, but I didn’t ask if they used that or a more generic flour in their baked goods.

Other fun things were garden fresh flowers for sale, and a large window into the back kitchen.

Absolutely wonderful gem in the center of Hailey! This is my go to spot for a going out lunch. The staff are incredibly kind, and talented! I noticed right away how the owners make an effort to know and remember your name. The food is just outstanding… crafted with fresh, local ingredients combined with familiar but interesting flavor profiles. They have many many options including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In addition, there are delish take aways for those wanting a nutritious meal in a pinch. The lasagna is *chef’s kiss!
