Do not pay attention to the single star reviews about this place. I almost did not go here because of the many poor reviews. That would have been a huge mistake. I will try to keep this short. Sara (spelling) In the office was very nice and explained what i needed to do. Like any business there are expenses they incur when the consumer (me) is unprepared. I had high end 304 Stainless that should have brought a pretty fair amount of money but I failed to separate the non-stainless. My choice was simple return with it separated or weigh in at non stainless price. I hit the scale and the guy doing the weighing was as nice as he could be, big smile and a wave through to dump my metal. Once in the yard a super helpful guy came and gave me some direction and even helped me unload my trailer. Once done back to the scale, big smile and a thanks here's your weight slip, head into the office. Sara looks over the slip and says not bad even though it's only standard metal rate (my choice nobody forced me to take less) another big smile, hands me the cash and a thanks and I'm on my way. These are good hard working people that treated me very well, don't pass this place up because of the previous reviews. Sorry about...

One thing you can count on here is getting ripped off. I was going by the recycling prices offered on thier web site which , as i write this , its down. Hhmmmm, well I am definely thinking small claims court. I , like a trusting idiot of earth, thought for sure with the weight of my brand mew Toyota original parts radiator, never used and the high grade aluminum couplings @ 0.81 cents a pound , I had nothing shy of 40 to 50 coming , I would get to my job in the city on time , nope . DID I MENTION I RODE A PUBLIC BUS STRUGGLING TO GET HERE TO RECYCLE, SO I COULD GET ON WITH MY LIFE. Oh yeah, I did. $3.45, thats what that nasty , I think she was previously, with all due respect, born with the wrong fit, I was very polite . He got angry when I suggested there was a mistake needless to say it was a horrible experience had left my day destroyed I couldn't even get back all the way on the bus anyway I would not go there if I were anyone and consumer affairs if Lake County needs to get over their test their skills test their demeanor and see what they're doing, especially when it comes to people...

Stealers . Saved metal from car repairs and Saved up aluminum wheels. I also cleaned and seperated the metal from plasitc Easily had more $200. An engine with aluminum head and transmission $16 for it. as of 11/28/22. We had more then 1,000 lbs of metal and only got $189.66. Total waste of time and would have been better to go else where . Call and make sure you get real prices before you dump your hard effort into thier laps. Look at the lady that Gives you the money and how shady she looks . Wouldn't trust ever again and this isn't my first time haven't a horrible experience. They once scammed my boss our of more than 5k of copper . Maybe they will change but my advice is stay very vigilant...
