Bento Cafe — Restaurant in Hainesville

Alright if you are looking for a review to give it to you how it is then this is it. Do you like sushi ? If so come eat it here, do you dislike sushi ? Come eat it here and it’ll change ur mind. Dude preparing the rolls behind the counter knows what he’s doing and if he doesn’t than he’s doing a great job at faking it. Place is clean & looks sharp with black accent walls that make everything else pop. Service has always been A1 - Lexi is the servers name if I recall and she knows how to handle a full house with ease, remembers orders and very helpful with menu. Bring ur date, your side chick/dude or both whichever way you roll “no pun intended”, family, friends, bring ur vegan friend they’ll convert back to animal products. You broke ? Skip the next car payment or phone bill cuz the sushi is Worth the price simple as that. I’ve never gone out of my way to write a review for a restaurant until now; I currently saw a documentary about over-fishing and how people are greatly effecting the seas and told myself I’d start doing my part to change that.... boy was I wrong, last time I went in this restaurant I single handily dried out a region of sea out of its fish. 10/10 would recommend and so...

Honest review. This place was fine. Service was good and the food was okay. Nothing too spectacular just a normal small sushi joint. I gave them the benefit of the doubt because I ordered my food 1 hour before close. Otherwise I was not impressed. Sushi was fine. Similar to what you’ll find in any Americanized Japanese restaurant.

The ramen I got however was neither spicy or authentic. Definitely not worth the 15 dollars I paid for it. It was similar to what you would find in the instant ramen aisle.

Sushi rolls were similar to what you would find at most cheap sushi spots. Nothing magnificent.

Bento cafe is beautifully decorated, and the staff is incredibly warm, friendly, and welcoming. The prices are fair, and the portions fill you up. They have a great selection of classic rolls, chefs specialty rolls, and tempura deep fried rolls. We ordered a Spicy Kyle, Dragon, Crunch Shrimp, and a Spicy Salmon roll. We had received a plain salmon roll, but it was still delicious to the point where I didn't complain or try to get a different roll and contribute to food waste.
