I would not recommend living in this community to anyone!!😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫 While the exterior and reception area may give a polished and welcoming impression, do not be fooled. The reality of living here is far from what you see on the surface. Once you move in, you’ll be greeted by mold, cockroaches, and dirt that permeates the entire building. Starting with the ventilation system, it’s filthy, and no one ever bothers to clean or maintain it. Mold is everywhere—especially in the bathroom and toilet areas—and it spreads rapidly within just a few days. This is not caused by poor hygiene but because the mold has been living in the apartment for who knows how long. In addition to mold, expect to see cockroaches and ants that are nearly impossible to get rid of. The cockroaches spread quickly, and pest control seems to be non-existent. In my personal case, there was no pest treatment for two years in my unit, despite ongoing infestations. Another major issue in this community is short-term rentals through Airbnb. The constant change of neighbors makes it impossible to have any peace or stability. On top of that, there is extremely poor soundproofing in these apartments. You can hear everything happening around you. To make matters worse, some kind of mechanical sensors or devices related to the air conditioning system constantly make loud knocking or banging noises during the night, either above or below your apartment. It’s impossible to get a good night’s sleep. The water system is another disaster. Hot water is unreliable—it’s either ice-cold or takes 3 to 4 minutes to warm up. Imagine having a young child and trying to quickly wash their face in the morning—it’s unbearable to wait so long just for water to heat up. And even when the water does come out, it’s often rusty and dirty. In addition, the water pressure and flow are terrible. Water from the taps and shower sprays in all directions because the plumbing system is either old or poorly maintained. On top of these physical issues, management is incredibly unprofessional. When I discovered the roach problem, I requested an early move-out due to my situation: I am pregnant and have a young child. Chemical treatments for the infestation are not safe for my health or my family’s. At first, one of the managers responded with understanding and even confirmed that I could move out early without penalty. However, despite submitting photos and official notice to the office via email, I never received a response for over 10 days. When I finally followed up, another manager coldly informed me that they “didn’t receive any communication,” denied my request, and now demand that I pay $6,000 for breaking the lease. To make matters worse, they also refuse to return my security deposit. This is on top of the rude and dismissive treatment I received throughout the entire process. The entire management team lacks professionalism. One manager in particular, Milagros Garcia, has an appallingly rude and disrespectful attitude. She is known in the community for being completely unprofessional and uncaring toward tenants. It’s not just her either—the staff as a whole seems to be cut from the same cloth. Expect poor communication, outright lies, and complete disregard for tenant concerns. Be warned—they will always come up with excuses, claiming they never received your messages or didn’t hear about the issue. They will never make any concessions and will treat you horribly every step of the way. You’ll be stuck dealing with unreasonable demands and blatant disrespect, no matter the circumstances. I would also like to attach photos showing how mold appears on various surfaces in the apartment, as well as pictures of the roach infestation. My friend, who previously lived in this community, has already left a review describing a similar experience. She even came to my apartment to see the conditions for herself and confirmed that it was the same problem she had with roaches before moving out.

Art square And why you should avoid living in this building. MOLD!!! All around the units Read the comments below and you will understand what’s going on in those building. I lived there for almost 4 years with 4 little kids I needed few days to recover after being kicked out the door thanks to Artsqaure management. I knew from friends of mine that there are mold problems, residents who broke lease because they become sick, Other residents who moved apartments. My son started to had symptoms of allergies more than a year ago such as running noise, watery eyes, nausea To the point he takes weekly shots for allergies at Joe Dimagio Hospital I complained for more than a year that we have live warms coming out of the showers every day I complained that it’s hard to breath in this apartment we have mold all around the cabinets. No one ever came to fix it. Few months ago my younger child started to have the same symptoms as her brother . They used to woke up in the middle of the night stating they cannot breathe . My kids woke up every morning with nausea and headaches I needed to start giving my daughter medication to stop those symptoms. I signed a new lease because I had no where to go. the management promised me they will fix the problems around the house. They didn’t. I decided to stop paying maybe that way someone will wake up and starts taking care of it. Of course no one did. They started an eviction process. I have lab results that shows CRAZY numbers of different kinds of mold in the bedrooms and inside the walls. High level of toxic Art square pushed me for months to the point I needed to leave because of eviction No one takes responsibility. Mangers who screams at me . 2 sick kids. Please please please AVOID I brought more than 7 friends to live there and I regret that moment. This all building needs to be close completely. I am in contacts with lawyers and the city of Broward county. It’s time so speak up against Artsquare

Wanted to share my experience living in Artsquare. I’ve only spent here 4 months , but I have to move out. In the beginning of my review I wanted to say, that I really like the management and concierge here. But If I knew that something like this can happen I would never move here in the beginning. So I decided to share and maybe my review can help someone to save their money and time. The main reason of my moving out is safety. It’s not safe to park your car inside the parking garage. First thing that happened is Someone cut my tires . I probably know who, but it’s doesn’t matter. Basically anyone can enter a garage without any issues and leave from there because there is no cameras around . I live on the 3rd floor, my apartment got flooded 2 times. Basically they built the ventilation system wrong and when it’s windy water can easily get into the apartment. It was disaster, because I have a little kid and I was scare that he can fall and hurt himself or get sick, because it was impossible to get rid of the flooding until rain stopped. I gave the management 2 months notice for breaking the lease . In the beginning they wanted to charge me 2*rent. After I spoke with the manager she cut the fine by half. It was totally ok with me, as I completely understand that it’s not their fault. I would never write them a bad review if something else didn’t happen. But two weeks later, my boyfriends sport motorcycle got stolen from covered parking garage. And there is no cameras anywhere where someone could possibly see anyone doing this. And it’s insane. How is it possible that someone enter the garage and just took it without the keys! Later one motorcycle was found , but it’s not in working condition. The repair is going to cost around 4-5k. I would not recommend to rent here if you concern about safety.

STAY AWAY!! Please save yourself and do not get stuck here. First off, this is a falsely advertised 'luxury complex'. The quality of the apartments is terrible. The layout and positioning of exits and parking is extremely difficult. Even packages cannot be delivered to you directly, and without the third-party service, mail will be lost. There are homeless people sleeping on the benches right outside, and it is scary to even walk the dog around the complex. Some of them get into the building and use the facilities as well. I have lived here for almost 8 months now, and I am still waiting for them to finish turning over my apartment. I have had flooding, mold, and many other issues from day one. Nothing but headaches! The staff and management are extremely rude and passive-aggressive. It's come to the point where I would rather deal with all the flooding issues myself rather than speak to a staff member here. The flooding damaged my expensive clothing, my Macbook, and more. The emergency service line could not even connect me. I was told they could not tell the source of the leak (it came through the wall itself), and I got towels and a dryer. No call from anyone to check on the situation. My neighbors had the same flooding twice, turns out, they knew what it was from and it's the building not having the pieces it needs to keep the rain from coming into the walls. The walls are infested with mold and I have not been feeling well as I am allergic to mold. The staff treats the tenants horribly! It's despicable. My move in date was changed 3 times, 1 week before move-in many fees that they refused to cover, they offered a minimal discount for my troubles. Finally, when move-in came, the apartment was filthy. There were literally poop stains in all the toilets and dirty hand prints on the walls. Not a single filter was changed. It took a month to get it cleaned (after I had to do it myself) and they still have not completed the work to get it ready for move-in 8 months later. My requests and complaints were ignored or handled so badly that I had to just let it go over arguing with a nasty manager or staff member. I tried emailing and speaking with management, they took care of the most urgent items within the first 3 months appx (undrinkable water, basic cleaning, some painting) and then stopped and have not been in contact since. This was the worst decision I made moving here, and I urge you to look elsewhere where you will not be disrespected, uncomfortable, and unsafe. The price on top of all this is not even close to worth it. I really hope they change management and get this place back to what it was when it first opened. It's so sad to see how bad it's gotten from just...
