Wine Beer & Deli — Restaurant in Hallandale Beach

BEWARE! EXTREMELY RUDE STAFF. Typical Russian attitude (from Nikolai and Irina especially). Loyal customer gone. Many former USSR people are very rude and have attitude, but those that have moved to USA have become nicer. Not the staff of this store. I am from Ukraine (former USSR as well), so in no way I am discriminating for the sake of discriminating. I live in USA and I bough a shish-kebab maker from this store that has a Russian/ Ukrainian power cord tip. The adapters/ converters/ tranformers I tried to power this machine with here in USA do not work properly. Apparently their power output is not high enough to make this machine work properly (not only heat up, but make also the stakes rotate). I called the store for some tips on getting this machine to work in USA. Spoke to a sales clerk Irina, who brushed me off rudely and with rude commentary passed me onto Nikolai. Nikolai was not helpful, and his only answer to everything was, "But we told you at the time of purchase that you will need a transformer." To which I, of course, kept replying, "I am not complaining about needing a transformer. I simply need to know which one you would suggest, because the one I got is not powering the machine on properly." Nikolai literally kept repeating the same phrase over and over, and acting like he couldn't wait to hang up on me. Warning to anyone to that wants to shop at this store. Stay away they are unprofessional and very rude, I went to the deli section in the back and waited there for long time and there was one customer in front of the store on a saturday night. There was older guy with glasses did not even come over to help me, he was a worker or the owner and I now understand why nobody shops here because how they treat their customers. Want friendly and a better Russian experience? Drive a little more north to World Market & Cafe. Wine Beer & Deli should be shut down by the city of Hallandale they don't respect the community and should pack their bags and go back to Russia. I'm American born here with family...

As a Florida city worker for Food Safety and Sanitation Department of Health I will be personally investigation this facility for major violations on removing and faking the expiration dates on the products sold in that facility. Today on June 22 - 2025 I walked in the store to buy 3 items. All 3 items are expired/past due date. I collected all documents to be presented at the hearing as well as the video footage to present the case of further proof. BEWARE of this facility BEWARE on what you are buying from them.
