Absolutely one of the best butchers in all of Texas. I place big orders with them every three months or so. All items are vacuum packed and they freeze everything for me upon pick up as requested. Whether it is Beef, Pork or Chicken this great establishment has got you covered. These guys are the real deal. They process and pack on sight like a real butcher is suppose to do and always deliver the highest quality to your dinner table. They're passionate about getting it right and knowledgeable about the products they sell. I want to say a special THANK YOU! to Mrs. Anita who commands the front. She is very operational and is totally committed to making sure your order is correct and exactly how you required it to be. She always makes suggestions if you are unsure what to order as well. During this pandemic they're taking it seriously and practicing the right way with the proper PPE. Masks are worn by all staff and only 3 customers are allowed in the store at a time. That speaks volumes and shows that they care about their staff, customers and not jumping on political bandwagons and putting people at risk. I travel from 2 hours east to pick up my orders and trust me it's an honor to make the drive. Plus it makes you feel good knowing you're freezer is stocked with top notch Texas beef. We appreciate this Packing Co....
Read moreGreat little market with awesome tasting sausages. They use a solid base recipe for their in house processed sausages. They sell a few different blends one with more beef and another with more pork. Also some with jalapeño. We also bought some summer sausage which was very well constructed and had great flavor perfect for sandwiches. The fresh meat and steaks are procured locally and is very high quality. The men behind the counter were very down to earth and respectful, the type of people that seem to love...
Read moreI miss going here as child from yoakum tx as my dad David Polk Sr (no longer living) would go here on Saturdays once or twice a month. He would order a big order that could fit in a rectangular igloo. They would have summer saugage, goose liver,sharp/mild cheddar and alot more all fresh and ready. Would feel sorry for the cows, waiting to get butchered but that's life. We must have our variety of meat lol. I now resides in san antonio tx since 2000, looks like imma need to make a visit real soon as an adult. Love those skinny red sausage links along with potatoes, I can taste them now. And the services they provide is a warm-feeling of welcome; how can I service you today. No judgement what so ever regardless...
